This is the idea my son had last year. We bought a harness but I like the tire idea way better. My son used a metal disk, like they use for farming when disking up the fields and had a rebar welded in the center to drop weights onto it. But with our gravel driveway, the metal disk is really really loud clanging and scared the goat badly last year. I think I'll rig up a tire for his goat this year to try out instead and see how that works out!
Clear Creek Farm that’s good to hear! We can never get the results we want out of a treadmill. Maybe not doing it right. So looking forward to trying this. Can I ask, when do you start it? Ours is just at 72lbs and still working on getting good amount of cover. And how long/often?
How far does he walk with the tire, or how long does he work with the tire each time? Is it every day you do this, or is it staggered through the week?

Do your goats stay in your barn the entire time or do you have a pasture? Were looking to buy some land and am curious how others have it set up
Our wethers stay in the barns and all our does are able to go in and out.

We always have our animals ready to go in the show ring the only thing we change is we start washing them about a month out.

We walk him about a 1/2 mile and walk him about a 1/2 and we work him 5-6 days a week

We feed Purple Visions Excalibur II from Lowe’s Pellet and Grain. Last 60 days we will go to the Purple Vision Trigger witch is a Wether feed
