My Kiko Spanish gave us enough colostrum to feed 3 other kids and then helped 2 bottle kids stay on mostly goat milks. We bred all our ladies to a quality Nigerian Dwarf so mixed kids everywhere, wethered all the males and kept all but 3 doelings. We're homesteading and property clean up so or goal is health and low maintenance. Thanks for your videos, easy watching and educational.

What do you use the water tote for? I just got two and I am not sure what I want to use them for. I would like to use one for the kids maybe. Then I was thinking of using the other one for growing potatoes. Cut the cage in half and then cut the tote in half and put drain holes.

I’m doing some research on this topic because we’re getting our two does breed for the first time over the winter

I have a goat that weighs almost as much as I do, and this is my first year raising a large animal. How would you start bracing a goat in this situation? I've only been walking him for a few days, and your video helps to show me what to do walking, but he's so big it's hard to do anything with him

Do you show goats in open shows at your state fair? Do you enter and participate in open shows? If so I have a question, Im trying to learn how open shows work! Are they for anyone? You don't have to be youth to enter your animal into them? I'm over in Ohio, and I just aged out of 4-H last year, ive been trying to find ways that i can still show livestock and be involved with fairs!

Howdy! I have a quick question about NAILE. Its about a 3 hour drive from me, so im planning on going next year to show some Shropshire sheep and boer goats! Is there an auction at the end of the show? Do your animals get sold, like how fairs are? Ive only ever showed at my county fair... I just aged out of 4-H not too long ago, so im looking for ways to still be involved in the livestock show industry, and sell my animals through show auctions. (I save the money made for college!) But enjoyed the video! I am SO excited to go next year!! Im seeing if i can go with a family friend this year, who will be showing some angus!

I really enjoyed watching the showcase of your goat farm. In my humble opinion, this is the best set up that I ever seen. What I got out of this video is the caring attitude you have towards your animals. Knowing Boer goats are raised for meat, are you exporting the meat? I ask, because aside from a few Americans like myself actually like eating goat meat. I have never seen goat meat offered by grocery stores. Too bad, people are missing out on one of the most nutritious meat available.

So I’m really curious do yours always fall of and look good after? Every other video is see they pop the skin off then go again multiple times till they scrape the horn of of the skull and you don’t. As long as you go gold does it work? Needing to know for my kids that were just born a week ago

New to goats here,, we dove in big time!we bought 30 nanny's right off the bat. All are bred but have no idea when our kids will start coming we have had a birthing barn special built for the goats. wish us luck! sounds like we are going to need it? but your video helps tremendously thank you....

I love some hybrids! I have Boer and Kiko and cross some to make Genemasters. Great meat goats! I have to say the AKGA is much nicer to deal with compared to the ABGA. PLUS we can register the Genemasters.
