Iron Jaw looks like a pretty cool figure, I’d definitely display that in my random collection of stuff I got sitting on my shelf. He looks like a mix of Skeletor and Trap Jaw, even the head shape from the cowboy hat down is kinda similar to Trap Jaw’s or at least it kinda does from looking at the Origins Trap Jaw that I have.
Swords and Sorcerers was just the European version of Galaxy Warriors, the company on the card was the importer. IIRC there were only 4 characters in the line.
Fun Fact: Here in Mexico, the "Automan" TV series was retransmitted in an infinite loop throughout the second half of the eighties and the early nineties; thus, a lot of people recall this series lasting very long , when it actually consists of only 13 episodes.
I remember the Automan tv show. At the time I thought it was cool, but I was also about 8yrs old. I didn't know about the toys. My brother might have had one of those battlehawk figures. They look kind of familiar. It would have been one of those things Grandma gave him. She was always good for a weird random toy, game, or activity book when we were kids.
Automan was ok in a mid-1980s sort of way. Also a lot of toys along the lines of Battlehawks "borrowed" the He-Man torso, but used different arms and legs with better proportions over He-Man's gorilla proportions.
I had several of those Battle Hawk figures that my Grandma bought me thinking they were apart of the Heman toy line. Back than I honestly thought they were apart of Heman even though I never saw the Battle Hawks in the tv show. It wasn’t until I got older that I realized Grandma got had when she picked those up. Regardless, I remember having fun with those figures whenever we went over to my Grandparents house. With all that being said, thank you so much for posting this video. It really took me back to those good old days when we were kids. As always, I look forward to seeing your next video! Take care!
Automan had a slot car set sold in the UK in 1983 by Ideal Toys. Comes with the Tron like Lambo and a cop car. The best part is its a label slapped Dukes Of Hazard slot car set with Automan stickers stuck on top of the Duke's stickers. If only Automan guest starred on the Dukes Of Hazard. Dare to dream. 😂
I would say that the Battlehawks toys look like a ripoff of Silverhawks, but that cartoon (along with toys based on it) came out in 1986, and the Battlehawks toys came out in 1983.
Omg how did I not know about Automan figure? Dang I want one. And the Battlehawks look cool. Definitely some custom potential. Thanks Junkman, I’d never heard of these. Nice to know there’s still some 80s gems out there!
I grew up watching the Automan tv series.Never knew there was toyline based off the show. That Swords and a Sorceress toyline could be added to the Dungeons and Dragons toyline 👍
@That Junkman The Battlehawks ''Skywing'' figure looked a little too much like the DC comics character ''Hawkman''. I couldn't find any info on if this ever happened or not? But I wouldn't be surprised if (DC comics sent Acamas Toys) a cease and desist letter.
LOL I just watched Automan on DVD yes its on DVD. It was amazing bad. I cant believe they made toys of a show that only lasted one season and those others were characters from the show. Thank You for showing me this
I actually like the Xchangers figures. These would be fun to take in the woods. I need that Automan mask. :) hahah Those business man figures are hilarious. I'm gonna need those Thanks for the video I enjoy hearing about old toylines and forgotten figures. :)
U said that word wrong🤣. I knew you would say it wrong😂. u always say those words wrong 🤣. man, you sure said it wrong the whole time😅. And I knew you would, say it wrong😜
Hey Junkman remember the TV show, Manimal? The man who could change into different animals. Don't remember to much other than that. Must not have been that good.
🤔...Audience question...👌🏼 How many other people's wallets have suffered due to the fact of Junkman showing random obscure awesome ish that you didn't know about, causing you to throw down on eBay...💸 Cause those Cosmic🤠Cowboy figures look pretty fawking cool...🤘🏼💯✔️ Probably gonna obtain myself one or two, possibly...👍🏼 But yeah, Junkman has influenced me quite a few times on awesome wacky shat that I never knew existed...🤙🏼
I was 7 when Automan was on the air. I remember his electronic friend made everything he needed, making a electric blue light outline then it became real. Somehow he created a biker gang called the "Automaniacs" and a motorcycle was created. It was 40 years ago. I barely remember.
I do remember watching the Automan show and liking it. I even wrote a comic flip-book based on it. Then the show disappeared without warning.

Fun fact:
After Automan was canceled, he moved to Springfield and became a school bus driver.
Dad jokes are alpha af
Because barely any of them had seen the movie Tron.

I was around 8 when Automan was on, I never linked it to tron because I was 8 ha....I was upset when it finished though
I was always a sucker for shows & movies with cool vehicles... Bandit's TA, General Lee, KITT, Airwolf, Blue Thunder and of course Automan.
The Beverly hillbillies.

The creators of Tron were ACTUALLY involved with Automan.
Captain Boyd is my favourite. Man what fun I would have had with this crazy guy.
Acamas seems to have made Thundercats mini figures too, alas I'm unsure of the year.
I actually like the Xchangers figures.
These would be fun to take in the woods.
I need that Automan mask. :) hahah

It’s pronounced acamas like sassafras.
I'd call them Japanese knock-offs but I know better Junkman oh and wasn't Desi Arnez jr in Automan ?
Wtf is automan?
