I had the He-Man weapon set at 4:51, my oldest sister got it for me when I was 5. I also had a bop bag but it came with an inflatable Power Sword and I had the Ben Cooper Beast Man costume, also both the He-Man and Skeletor erasers (the bones behind the Skeletor eraser was his throne from the cartoon).
I had the belt. I think two of the "messages" were: "I have the power" and "Skeletor you're through". They seemed like soundbites from the cartoon. Pretty good audio for a belt. I remember the string you pull being on the belt itself. The Castle Greyskull thing I believe was just an accesory with no connection to the belt.
Had the toybox. Still have both the swords you mentioned. There's also a Skeletor mask with the Havoc Staff not mentioned in this video I have. A Castle Greyskull Tent I remember having and a second lunch box. (I still have both lunch boxes) I want that Battle Cat ride on!
The California Raisins were popular claymation-style "spokes-characters" for the raisin industry in California in the 1980s. I grew up in California, so we saw commercials for them all the time. I assumed they were seen nationwide.
I'm a new subscriber, ran across your channel and love your videos I laugh every time. In one video you said you lived in Georgia so do I in central Ga. Keep up the good work!
That little plastic divider on the paper is so it'll project the image and you can trace it. I never used one, but I need to try it. I liked the stamps, the TV tray, and the pocket clip thing. Thanks for the video
I'm curious about those things, also about the...idk what it's called, roughly like an old school transparency projector where you look through the top splitter thing and you can see the subject ahead and the paper below at the same time. Allows you to 'trace' reality.
I think most of the the merchandise they put out would have you gotten up by the cool girls would done while you were still in school. The cool guys either beat them up as the walking home or when they got the invitation to the party and your grandma bought you a Michael Jackson doll.
Your channel and Brick Mantooth's channel have both made me say, "Damn I had that as a kid" or "Damn I forgot I had that" and then I have to sit and wonder what I ever did with it. I don't really remember ever throwing anything out or selling it, but so much of my childhood just disappeared, gone, blinked out of existence. I know most of my Star Wars toys were lost in a house fire, but so much other stuff just disappeared. 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨🤨 That is a big part for me to watch your videos, because they truly take me back to an amazing time with some amazing toys. 🙂👍👍👍
My little brother had some of these things. Such as the first costume you show on the video. He also had the Skeletor one. He had the weapons set, the swords and shield. I think the swords would combine into one. we had the deluxe stamp set with the little figures on the top. i had the pencil topper of Skeletor which I got in a machine outside a grocery store. I had that same lunch box. I do remember a cousin of mine had the big wheel. He would never let me ride.
You're thinking of a compass. I'll tell ya though, I hadn't though about those story records in a long time. Still remember going to Hardee's to get The Gremlins story-books and 45 records with them.
i was big into he-man back in the 80s before the transformers came out. most of this stuff i never had. i did have he-man electric toothbrush back then.
Do any of you remember a power sword play set that didn’t have a light up sword but a plain colored plastic sword with the shield? I remember there were two optional sets one for He-Man and the other for Skeletor…
By the time I started High School HM was not for me. I Still collected SW Kenner but at least I had Younger cousins into She-Ra. I remember her saying I have the Power. Happy New year Jedi of the Junk. Appreciate the Humor and Vintage SW Kenner videos. Take Care God Bless you in 2025!
I have to be one of those fans that liked the figures until the cartoon came out. In 1981-1982 I had a friend next door who had most of the figures at one point. I brought my GI Joes over and he stopped buying Heman. Then the cartoon came out and like me we hated most the same things in it . We couldn't stand orko , prince Adam , cringer, and the fact that they dumbed down the characters . I think if they had played it straight I would have liked the show and characters more . I know I wasn't the only one. My friend gave away all of Human stuff after a week of the series being on tv. He did keep the first run of the mini comics though.
You typically get a thumbs up I do enjoy quite a bit of your content. But I was a huge fan the Masters of the Universe. It's kind of obvious your heart wasn't in this one buddy.
That bop bag art is terrible. It makes you want to punch it, so when considering that's what it's for, I am sure it's deliberate. Also I had the Ben Cooper Skeletor costume for one Halloween.

I had a He-Man clip on radio with headphones shaped like his shield but it only played AM Radio. 11:12 Similar to this one.
I didn't have any of these. I love the He-Man art.

What time is it? "Half past He-Man whoopn Skeletors' ass!!"😂😂😂 They would've sold billions of them watches if they used that line!!😂😂😂👏👏👏👏👏
"Cordell, please plate some fresh Vienna sausages and ravioli on the He-Man tv tray. I'll be supping in the east wing tonight. Make haste."

7:23 He's got a Michael French head!
The magazine reads: _Invent you own He Man character, and win an exclusive He Man shirt_
Those two swords connected and made one sword

Yes they were and very popular
Nice finds! Also, at 1:06 ...well, that's a word I've not heard in this context before! 😳

"Welcome aboard, Johnson!" :) haha
Thanks for watch and yep in GA, Macon :)
You mean a compus. Yes they did look like weapons. It was a different time then. Hell I was on the rifle team at school.
That little plastic divider on the paper is so it'll project the image and you can trace it.

@shanester1832
When I was a little kid I physically traced my action figures and I'd fill in the details after I got the outline. :)
Cool idea

That kid on the California Raisin Treasure Hunt is young Napoleon Dynamite.

I used to have a pair of those he-man sunglasses as a kid . back then I didn’t realize just how dorky I looked with them on.
I really like that He-Man wooden box/chest, I’d use that today even as an adult but mostly for storage. It just looks cool.
@@NintendoSuperstar93
I really like that one, too.
I was thinking set up some He-Man figures on top.
You're thinking of a compass. I'll tell ya though, I hadn't though about those story records in a long time. Still remember going to Hardee's to get The Gremlins story-books and 45 records with them.
Tooth brush Toppers... ahhhh Cool, that's Fun 😂
I never knew they made it, beyond the toys
I had that He Man bank as well. It was one of my favorite things as a kid.
I had the sword but i've never seen the shield.
I used to like those stamp kits and stationery sets.
I love the little He-Man stamp figurines.
I've got a stormtrooper stamp from the mid-90s. :)
@ I remember having Shirt Tales stampers.
I did watch a lot of He-Man.
Also does anyone else remember that those erasers wouldn't erase anything? They would just smear the lead and make a black smudge on the paper! 😂
I never saw the he-man bike in the wild 😳.... even the neighborhood parents knew their kids would be shunned if they bought that crap for them.
i was big into he-man back in the 80s before the transformers came out. most of this stuff i never had. i did have he-man electric toothbrush back then.
Definitely looked like a lady he-man to me.
I used to have MOTU playing cards that were over sized and only used for playing war.
Awesome. I grew up watching He-man.
I had that he man radio it only got AM stations no FM
Do any of you remember a power sword play set that didn’t have a light up sword but a plain colored plastic sword with the shield? I remember there were two optional sets one for He-Man and the other for Skeletor…
Nevermind! Junk man did feature the set I was thinking of… commented too soon!! LOL

I had that big wheel lol😂 I still have that lunchbox lol
Cool I have that tray. Take care.
Man the 80s were full of crappy tv and movie merchandise 😂 but also some real gems. 🍻

you made me realize if gi joe is a toy line after watching these he-man toys,huuuuuuh,.......marius(punk rules).
_Stempeln_ has to be German for _Stamp_ or as itś called in Sweden _Stämpel_
hey junkyard, you do realize, that these forgotten motu toys are now worth millions of mula,....a collector's item,....marius(punk rules).
"Twink"?
Yuuuup junkman I had the HE MAN toothpaste topper!!!
Always thought He-Man was gay and weird. More of a GI-Joe and Star Wars person.
Lol those are great

Do you would leave a comment
