    *What are your thoughts on the Core Ice 6515ST that I will be doing some modifications to and getting setup for this ice season? What do you want to see?*

      Haven’t had to do much to it they have pretty much thought of everything. I have bought a bunch of the clips for the rail system and made stuff like coat hangers magnet bar small baskets rattle reels. Being that the walls are smooth, I also use some strong suction cups for hanging things. I power mine with solar generators or a small 800 watt sportsman generator.

    I have a 2022 6515st. Camping, hunting shack, enclosed trailer helped my daughter move . It’s very versatile not just for fishing. I used 3m heavy duty locking Velcro to mount my rod holders on the ceiling. It’s a great outfit wouldn’t buy any other brand. Like anything though there are a few cons.

    Nice thing with core houses is they float. Only permanent ice house I know that floats if anything where to happen.

      Definitely not the cheapest option out there, but its actually not too expensive given the premium product you are getting. Lots of options out there, and lots of them are great depending on where a person's budget is and what they are looking for in the product. I know there are DIY options out there where a person can build a skid house for next to nothing if they are willing to put the time and work into it and have a lot of the materials laying around or they can get for cheap, all the way up to ice houses that cost north of $100,000. All depends on what a person wants and is looking for
      I just did a quick search online and found a couple brand new 6.5' x 11' Core Ice Fish Houses starting at $21,000, of course get the features, dimensions, etc. you want and go from there.
      Appreciate the comment for sure man!

    Hey man I have been following along with all of your videos on this trailer and have been all over Core’s website/social media because of you advertising for them. Seems like a great product. Obviously you haven’t hauled the thing with your machine yet but I am curious to see how well your tracked quad does with this thing when on skids and on tires. How well it pulls through deeper snow on skids vs. tires and ease of set up and etc... Hard to say if the trailer will just plow snow or if it will stay on top, seems like the skids need to have more sweep at the front of them to stay on top of deeper snow but maybe the way they are designed in combination with the weight of that trailer would be fine??? I have a Can-Am 6x6 1000 on tracks and live up in Canada and if my machine wouldn’t have any issues pulling this thing through 2’ of snow on skids I would be very interested in one of these units. Have even looked up which unit would fit the length of my machine as my machine on tracks is 10’-6”. Will be following along for sure. Great vids!!! Have also watched quite a few other videos of yours because of the ones on the Core ice trailers.

      Awesome Robert, and thank you for all the thoughts and what will be helpful for you to see, I plan on hopefully answering a bunch of those questions. I am going to leave the tires on my wheeler for as long as I can (until we get a bunch of snow) so that I can see how it loads / unloads / pulls, etc. with wheels and then in comparison. One thing I will make sure I try to do is put a camera on the ATV and in the snow each time I pull it and put that part in the fishing videos I put out so that a person can see exactly how well it does pulling through the snow/ice/slush/etc.

      MONEY MAN!!! I look forward to those videos, you have done such a good job so far videoing, explaining, and promoting the Core product (doesn't even seem like you are promoting it as much as describing it extremely well and it sure seems like a great product to begin with), I hope they notice this and are willing to give you credit for it. Hopefully you guys get some snow or at least some cold temps for ice. We are having a hard time up here getting much ice with all the warmer weather we have been getting. CATCH THE BIG ONE!!!@@AlexTimm

      Yes, the TV has a latching system on it too so it can't move from the wall unless you release it. I can tell they thought about the details and they've been doing it for a while, so I'm sure they've worked some of the kinks out. 👍🔥

    I pick my 6515ST in a week or so. Will be following to see what mods you do. I have a 300ah lithium going in and was contemplating an inverter for a couple of the 110 outlets. I’m stumped on best storage and organization at this time (rods,clothes, tackle,food,etc). Would like to come up with some small 12v fridge option. I think I’ll miss that most from my Yetti.

    • @AlexTimm
      @AlexTimm  10 месяцев назад +1

      SWEET!! Yes, I will be sure to show how I am going to do mods / storage / inverter etc. Would love yours and other's thoughts too as those videos come out. I wish it had some more upper storage above the side couch / bunk. But I guess a person can add their own with that core rail. I'm doing some research now on a small 12v fridge / freezer combo that will sit in the bathroom in front of the converter area, just trying to figure out which one I want to go with. As for the 110 I decided to do the inverter right away because for all my camera stuff and laptop / wifi its just going to be better vs small inverters that are not pure sine wave. But honestly only the microwave and the outlets are the only things that need that AC power, everything else works awesome on 12v

    This unit looks great, my biggest concern would be dealing with ice ridges, frazzled ice chunks and ruts, I think those skis need to give the unit some ground clearance

    • @AlexTimm
      @AlexTimm  9 месяцев назад

      Thanks for your comment! Dealing with ice ridges and chunks can definitely be a challenge. We'll see how it does this year, hopefully the middle ski will get it moving over the top and the outside ones follow. I'll keep everyone updated throughout the season

    Will your ATV handle the tounge weight? Heavy tounge?

    • @AlexTimm
      @AlexTimm  10 месяцев назад

      It should with no problem as the tongue has pins you pull out and when it is down in skid mode there is essentially no weight on the tongue, its just hooked up and free swivel up and down as you pull it. I'll be sure to show more this year on it. In wheel house mode, I'll do a video with it, shouldn't have any issues with it I don't think, tongue weight I can't imagine is more than a couple hundred pounds (of course depending on where you have your weight in it distributed)
