Well done review! I would like to add I personally know the owner operator of Core. We've played some basketball together. I work with his wife and will say they are class acts. It doesn't surprise me a bit how you were impressed with the quality and workmanship of the product. I don't own a wheel house, but am definitely considering a Core if I purchase one this year or next.

Thanks for the detailed review Alex! We definitely appreciate your feedback and the team is paying attention. We can supply a couple comments that might be helpful to your viewers. The skid mode is about enhanced mobility, lengthening your season, and expanding your options. Many of our users have found that they can be the first hard-sided trailer out at some of the access points when using skid mode. Chains and tracks are definitely in order. The hybrid is all about options: some situations call for tires and some are enhanced with skid mode. You had a lot of great observations about overall functionality of various features. As you all know, product design is an optimization between functionality, solving needs for as many customers as possible, cost, weight, etc. We aim to offer the best possible overall value and in doing so some possible features apply to some more than others at an increased cost, weight, or complexity. Insulated LP compartments are only helpful if a significant amount of heat is added to the compartment, so that can work when heated but could harm performance if not heated (vaporizing LP will drop the temperature). We really appreciate all of your notes and will definitely keep striving to offer the best solution between standard features and options, so thank you!

Thanks for borrowing the trailer for a test run this year, wanting to hear all the feedback, and building a great product! Can't wait to see even more of the great stuff to come from Core Ice! Highly recommend

There aren't enough core videos, thanks for making this vid! Had a couple questions hoping you can answer.
1.) How easily do you tow your 15'? Do you think you could tow the 6.5 by 19'?
2.) Would snowmobile studs scratch the floor?
3.) How thin of ice would you take this thing on?
I was thinking of adding snow tow skis to the tires of 19' version. You mentioned the snow tow skis float better! Thats good to hear!

I had a chance when I was up fishing LOW this year to stop by and look at both a Core Ice and a Polar Fox. I really liked the rear door of the Polar Fox. The build quality was I think comparable, the biggest difference is that only core offers the hybrid wheelhouse/skidhouse.

Great video! Love watching the journey from when you got it until giving it back. Any idea if there’s a hauler like this that fits a tracked sxs defender? I fish lake Winnipeg and like the idea of bouncing around often so the lightness is attractive but only looked like 6.5 for core

Thanks, glad you liked watching it. I enjoyed checking it out this year! Yes, the 8019ATX from Core Ice should fit it if my google searching of the dimensions of your tracked defender are right. Check the dimensions and just give them a call, they are super helpful

Hey Alex. I think in one of your winter videos, the windows had a ‘shunt’ light blocker also. Is that correct? Excellent honest review!

Yes, each window has a screen and a blackout curtain as well built in!

Was the 400ah enough for your needs for a weekend? Tired of my generator.

Yes, granted it all depends on how power hungry you are, how often you want to run the microwave, coffee maker, charge a laptop, etc. But if I didn't do anything to conserve power, ran the keurig multiple times, TV on for 18 hours plus, basically all lights on the whole time, charging a laptop, phone, cameras, livescope, internet and other things I was getting about 30 hours of use off 400ah lifepo4. If I wasn't such a power user 48 hours easy. If I wanted to be conservative, I bet I could get close to 5 days

They are WAY overpriced for what they are. Glacier is top of the line in wheelhouses and I can literally but two for one core….. core is very bare in features! Nice it’s light but can’t justify the price.
