- First ice fishing trip with the Chuck Box! This is my off-grid 5x8 cargo camper ice shack trailer that I designed and built. I venture out onto lake Nipissing in search of Walleye during a crazy wind storm. I share some updates of the trailer after a year of use. I'm so glad your video popped up on my feed today. I thought I was tge only crazy guy turning my 6 x 12 cargo trailer into a toy hauler slash fish house . Like your set up sir . Thanks for sharing your experience 😊
Awesome to hear!! Thanks for watching. Good luck with the build and fishing this year!
Awesome little setup! Looks cozy in there out of the element
Joe - The video was great! You need to get some 6 gallon buckets and save yourself the headache of slushing around the holes or slice a 5 gallon to fit inside like a sleeve.
Yes this will help out a lot!! On my to do list. Thanks for watching.
Hey bro if you cut the tops off other buckets you can use them as sleeves inside the 1st bucket and push it down to the Ice so you don't have to pack that much snow. Good luck
Great idea! I was looking for longer (deeper) buckets but having a hard time!
Hi Joel, you've given me the bug, So I am now slowly adding to my camping gear collection a bit at a time !
All the best Joel from NZ
Thanks for watching!
Nasty wind. Good to see you can still get out and be be nice and comfy
Thanks for watching!
Love your trailer! Thats exactly what I am doing next season. I just cant deal with the wind in Sask every day!! This way I can be inside lol. I wont even dare set a tent up in the wind. Nice to meet your channel! DO you have more vids on this trailer? I wana see more!
Hey!! Greetings from northern Ontario! Yes many more videos on my channel 😃 thanks for stopping by. Cheers!
Hey dude! Try using shortly jig strokes x 5 at a time. Then hold and raise slowly. Get them to move!
Good tip! Thanks for watching.
I was watching this episode. I know it's way past time, but while watching that sticker and that air bubble, I thought it must be driving him crazy! LOL Then you said it and fixed it LOL! PRECIOUS!!!
Oh of course I had to fix that wrinkle haha. Glad you enjoyed the video. Thanks for watching
This looks like such a good time! Great content and editing bubb
Thanks Branden! Appreciate it. Stay tuned for more :) cheers!
that's a really nice set up you have. where i live the ice just got safe... and will be gone by March. a really short season.
Thank you! That's a crazy short season. Good luck this year, stay safe on and off the ice!
As always, I enjoy your videos. The part where you said you had to fix the wrinkle in the sticker before it drives you nuts is an attribute of a true architect ... LOL!
Haha thanks for watching! Yeah my ocd was kicking in a bit there. Cheers!!
After watching your build series last year, when you put that sticker up a little crooked with a wrinkle I thought "that's gonna drive him nuts!" - sure enough :)
Hahaha yes, my ocd kicked in. Thanks for watching :) appreciate it.
@@JoelTremblayCA I would call it attention to detail! Have modeled my own build largely after yours - appreciate all the detail you included in your build videos
Found your channel when looking up Lady Evelyn canoe route.nice setup you got there new sub here
That's awesome! Thanks for watching and the sub. Cheers!
Very cool video 🤙
Thank you!
Nice setup. And like others, I thought man he is going to be upset when that phone falls through the hole in the ice.
Thanks Rob! I am teaching myself to keep the phone on the mount. Will I drop it down the hole? maybe... time will tell. It would make for a funny video lol - Thanks for watching
@@JoelTremblayCA I have watched the whole build. It did take me a bit to figure out what the holes in the floor were for. Looks like they work out well. Keep up the good work.
@@rob280 Thank you! I appreciate the feedback.
What type of hole covers are those that fit the 5 gallon bucket right inside?
Check out my videos of the trailer build. I show the product and how I installed them. Look up catch covers
NICE video bud. What app are you using?
Thanks for watching! This is the fish deeper app, it connects to my deeper pro chirp+ 2.
👍👍🙂🇨🇦🎣
Have you ever checked out "MAV" channel? Rich
Yes, Mav is awesome. Would love to meet him sometime! Thanks for watching
Bro hope u gotten a flasher by now, but the cellphone isn’t sustainable, Atleast until Yiu drop it in the hole .. trust me
I love the deeper. No wires and takes up no space! I keep the old phone hooked up to a 20000mah battery pack and it's been working flawless. I have the rod attachement for the phone too. Thanks for watching.
Ran my Deeper on a tablet. Deeper only lasted about three hrs, hope the batt lasts longer on the newer ones.
What version do you have? I've found that I can get +10 hours out of mine!!
@@JoelTremblayCA I think it's the first ones out, have it a long time.
@@fredhinck9685 yeah I believe they worked on the battery performance on the newer ones. The Deeper Chirp+2 is rated for 15 hours!
