Got the controller last week. I just wanted to get started asap without spending too much and increase my skill. This video helped me realize what I haven't figured out already. I have the trial of Serato DJ , deleted intro. Will purchase it when it runs out and watch more of your videos.
Hello, Can you please tell me what DDJ can be better between the SR2 and SB3 ? I have both right now and for me (first time DDJ user) the controls seems to be almost the same, pads, pith control, volume, etc. So far SR2 is winning since it come with the Serato Dj pro license and I can connect my two turntables. Please help :) Thanks
+Gonçalo Beja I haven't reviewed the SR yet. My favorite so far has been the sx2 (see video). My advice is to buy what you can afford. Good luck. ruclips.net/video/DsERCmS2C3I/видео.html
You can use the manual loop. Press “in” where you want to start, then press “out” where you want the loop to end, when you want to stop the loop just press the “exit” button next to the “out” button
If you're on a budget it's good. You're gonna have some limitations that you won't be able to grow with. Make sure you check out my comparison of Serato DJ vs Searto DJ Intro. If you have the money get a controller with Serato DJ instead of intro. ruclips.net/video/RyPAS2rmC6A/видео.html
Hmm, i've watch your video with serato intro dj vs serato dj, but you know i want to get one who have serato dj, 4 decks with dedicated buttons and i have arround 500 euro budget, i can go to 600 euro, but it needs to be a good one.
I think you're describing the Pioneer DDJ SR. I haven't played around with that one, but looks to be pretty good. I had an sx2 which was $1,000. The main advantage would be the dedicated volume sliders for 3rd and 4th decks.
Bo DiddlyJust downloaded Mixxx yesterday. Feels very similar to VDJ very intuitive and it even has an auto DJ option. For some reason I don't like Serato very much, even though I actually took a whole course on how to DJ with Serato. I'm not sure what the fuss is all about. It's heavy on the processor, it doesn't really have any major advantages over other softwares. In fact there's one thing I don't like about it is that you have to disconnect the controller to calculate the BPM of a track that you may want to add to the library. I don't know.. Serato is jut not my cup of tea. Lots of people like it though.
Thank you so much.. I don’t have to pay like £120 for full version of recordbox. I didn’t know this was a thing until now... thanks for saving my money 💵💵
Hi Lara. Thanks for your email with the question how to get started djing. I made a video on the cheapest way to start which is just using your laptop. I'd recommend that you try that out and then buy a controller later if you like it. ruclips.net/video/tszbtSXWQ5o/видео.html

Already sold the sb2. I think if you update Serato you should be fine, but if you find another solution please update.
Can you extend the auto loop to 32 beats?? or it's just limited to 8 beats only??
Darren Awe i Think it goes up to 16
You can use the manual loop. Press “in” where you want to start, then press “out” where you want the loop to end, when you want to stop the loop just press the “exit” button next to the “out” button
So, for a begginer dj, it is good?

Flangur. Flanger. The g is pronounced like a j.
Good video but i hate the horn sound
Mixxx is free and multi-platform, so you don't have to pay for serato dj or recordbox.

Is this controller compatible with Virtual Dj?
Most everything has virtual dj mappings, you just have to buy virtual dj.
@@Consumerthon it doesn't work with free Virtual DJ ?
