God, I really wish I could turn the clock back and still have Seve around on the golf course. He was simply the most charismatic, handsome, unpredictable, genius on a golf course that I have ever known, and I am sure that ever lived. Just because he drove into the woods more often than not, did not mean that the opponent had an advantage, that was his charm and we all sadly miss him for it. RIP Seve, we all loved and miss you.
Seve was the peoples champion. My club was playing at Ryde on the IOW on Saturday and we all observed a minutes silence for him. A truly great golfer and great man.
What a golfer, what a swing. I stood behind him when he was in a bunker at the Belfry in the '93 Ryder Cup and watched him flop it out to a couple of inches. Absolute magic. Much missed.
I am 45 years old and I have followed Seve's career right from when it first started. I am so gutted to hear of his death. Seve was always my favourite player. Rest in peace, Seve, you were magic and a true legend and a gentleman on and off of the golf course. All of your family and friends and fans love you, Seve.
Brilliant video of the sports most charismatic genius. And great music too, from Paco de Lucia. I can cry every time I think of Seve passing at just 54. Severiano, you truly enriched my life and for millions around the world too. X
My father recalled a time when the Open was at Birkdale seeing a young competitor in the locker room on his own (this was at the start of the week) looking a bit lost. He barely spoke a word of English. He did provide him with an autograph in his programme. Unusually he signed his full name rather than the subsequent 4 letter one). My dad had difficulty remembering how to pronounce it. By the end of the week it was a little easier!
Thanks for that; the one sportsman I'd say who inspired genuine love for him from the public. In a certain sense fitting that he blazed so brightly for a time and then was gone, a unique soul. His early loss serves to emphasise how fortunate the world that he was here in the first place.
A great man for many reasons. I took 15 kids to Hoylake a few years ago and we followed him round on the Wednesday practice day, he talked to the kids and they loved him! He had his son caddying and I have a great photo of them together. He'll continue to play flamboyant, imaginative shots wherever he's found himself i'm sure! A true genius and entertainer.
While he was playing at Dalmahoy in Edinburgh,Sevie barged past me almost knocking me to the ground, so I can honestly say, I rubbed shoulders wit h the Great golfer he was.
Thank you for your kind words. I have hours of Seve footage but dont have the time to make more video compilations. I'd love to do one of all his Ryder Cup exploits, maybe I'll try just a bit harder. Thanks for watching.
Would love for you to do any Ryder Cup competitions ! Especially with Seve ! He was quite an exceptional player that was like watching a matador picking his shots with exactness and flair ! RIP 👍
One of the best videos I've seen on You Tube! Very well done, and great music... BRAVO! Seve... you were the man on the links! May you rest in peace... You brought so much joy, excitement, laughter and tears to all of us who followed your amazing career.
this is the last trajectory: the first tree you turn to the right, the second tree you turn to the left, after the low ball and the Santa Maria 's fade! Very special shot Seve
I saw Seve put 3 planes of flight on a ball. In the trees he hit a 3 iron about 50 yards to keep under the branches, then when the ball had cleared the trees it majestically rose up and when it reached its full height, the ball then turned left and hit the front of the green. It was a shot of about 200 yards. Tiger couldn't have done that! Amazing!
@Hedwallfxtd Thankyou, kind words. It was great fun trawling through the hours of footage I have of Seve to make this video. Wish I could find his bunker shot at the 1983 Ryder Cup though, cant be found. Thank you and glad you like the video. Sevefan
When Spain was NOTHING outside our borders, this man took our pride and name to the rest of the world, in the most humble way. Not only a genius in "the game", but one of the best human beings you could ever find out there. R.I.P Seve, never forgotten.
I Liked how some of his bad shots were included in this video because he wasn't the perfect golfer. That's not the reason we loved him. It was his charisma and presence on the golf course. His tremendous shot making ability and his unbelievable recovery skills. Golfers will always remember him for that.
No one was more exciting to watch - even Tiger. Tiger was more reliable in his prime. Seve was more edge of the seat, more charisma, and used the golf club like it was a rapier. His swing when on time and when he back problem was less, was a masterpiece of power, spin, and beauty.
@Sevefan I remember watching the event on TV - but I don't remember that much about it. Maybe that shot wasn't shown. I don't believe it's possible that cameras 'missed' it at a big event like that though. I am so sad today. Seve was the greatest.
I'm looking for video of his 3W from the bunker at the 18th in the '83 Ryder Cup - which has been described by Nicklaus and Faldo as the best shot they ever saw... anyone have it?
can't avoid the tears, what a genius... not just as golfer, also a good man!
Loved that man, he will never know what he brought to my life. he is truly missed by the game.

Severiano, you truly enriched my life and for millions around the world too. X
Thanks for this beautiful post, a great tribute to this Mozart of Golf ! RIP Seve, you will always be on my mind...
Seve def more of a Beethoven than a Mozart! Faldo probably nearer Mozart
In success and failure Seve brought a flair to both which is very rare. Rest in Peace.
I was lucky enough to follow him around Wentworth in the Suntory World Matchplay many years ago. He was a genius. My sporting hero by far.
Today, I played. Yesterday I watched Seve clips. My game was better.
When you have Seve in your heart your mind and body follows.
What a beautiful thing to say.
Wonderful...wonderful genius....just loved him....so missed...
I am grateful that you are making such great videos and keeping alive the memory of the Greatest Golfer ever.
Video made with love. Music and editing produced tears here.

A hero of mine until his end. He gave it all he had, no matter if if was his best.
Greatest European golfer ever. Awesome - in fact he was the worlds most flamboyany golfer in the world.
He inspired me to try every shot! Never to give up😎
How's that working?

a great video perfectly matched with a fantastic soundtrack...thank you I now have it saved in my faves
Some can argue that there have been more talented players, but nobody can argue that his talent was one of a kind.
