This is a tribute to a great man who inspired so many people to play Golf. Seve Ballesteros, a sporting hero. Produced by Peter O'Doherty. podproductions.ie
My Dad didn't care too much for the Europeans in golf, but he loved Seve. Swashbuckler, genuine, never give up, raw emotion with every swing. He was great!
I played golf with a younger friend today, I’m nearly 50 and he’s mid 30’s. I’ve forwarded this to him as he hadn’t heard of Seve. Brought a tear to my eye watching this, so good to have these memories of such a great man to live on. Seve the Don.
He summed golf up on sky when he said " there are one or two shots that you hit in a round of golf that make you want to come back and play the next day " i always remember this when i am having a bad round its so true .
Wow....what a beautiful soul Seve is and was.................he was full of life and love and he showed the world how to live life............truly a a rare person.
INGENIO! I would rather watch Seve more then any other golfer in golf history. Everything about him screamed genius, artist, master, royalty, and CHAMPION!
No other player exuded the passion that he had for life and golf. He's not forgotten by no means and will remain in my mind for years to come. This video is such a wonderful tribute to him. Wish i could have met him in person.
Of all the ten million montages of Seve's life and career I've watched on RUclips, I think this might be the most touching. Thank you Peter O'Doherty, you made me cry today... in a good way. RIP Seve ♥
During the 1993 Ryder cup at the belfry Costantino Rocca had a nightmare finish to his singles match and lost, so captain Bernard Gallagher asked Seve if he would go to the eighteen, collect Costa and make sure he was all right. Seve went away, but fifteen minutes later Costa appeared on his own. Did Seve find you? Asked Bernard. Yes, replied Costa. But I couldn't stop him crying.
I miss him. There is no one today on tour that has his class, charm, and charisma. He made the European tour, and he made watching the Ryder Cup better than watching football. We love you Seve. I hope you're playing golf in heaven and smiling like you did for us. You're a class act.
the most intense and animated golfer the world will ever see. Played shots that todays pros wouldn't even consider, and pulled them off. A delight to watch!
That was Awesome! The one word that I think of that describes Seve is PASSION! He lived in the moment in everything he did and the golf world will always be grateful for what he did on and off the golf course.
Nobody, repeat nobody compares to his genius on a golf course, and that includes tiger, seve turned European golf from nothing to champions, and I wept at his passing, we will never see his like again
Seve. Un hombre especial. Soy Sueco y falta un poco de palabras en espanol. Pero por fin,,GRACIAS para todo. Tu estuve el jugador que abre en golf en Espana. Gracias.
I remember in 1988 at Lytham when he won. I went to watch him with my brothers when I was 15 and a budding 6 handicap golfer. I even wore a blue jumper like Seve to give him luck. Remember seeing him in the flesh and up close and he was a superstar/rockstar all in one. People were absolutely mesmerised by him and he had a intimidating but charismatic aura about him that only legends have. Women loved him too.
What a beautiful video. Made me cry and made me smile as well. Met Seve in 1983 at Birkdale at The Open, i was 16 working as a scoreboard operator and he was my sporting idol.
Was there ever a better worker of the golf ball. I doubt it. And a great person. I caddied for him once for 9 holes when his regular caddy was late at a proam. Unforgettable experience watching him play that close. So much emotion too!
Grande Seve! Un auténtico ejemplo para los que amamos el golf y el deporte en general. Has sido y seguirás siendo una inspiración para los jugadores de golf. Te echamos de menos!
Wow, touching. I did not know about Seve until recently and my goodness the man had pure passion for golf the likes of which I don't think has ever been in another player, pure passion for golf not even winning but just golf. An untouchable swagger and style to go with that pure passion, my favorite golfer and a true inspiration to all trying to learn this game.

Gran video. Cograts¡¡ So proud of Seve. The best Spanish Golfer...Gracias.....
Unbelievably moving to watch and as you look down upon us from "the 19th" , know that your name and achievements, today resonate with another 54 year old who in your heyday was just a simple school boy using every opportunity he could whether it be afternoons after school or full days during school holidays to hustle a round or two on a golf course few will have heard about, in a very small town in Brakpan, South Africa, called State Mines. Rest in Peace Seve!!!
This dude had friggin ice water in his damn veins. A magician that went for the throat and got it more often than not. Perhaps most important, The Ryder Cup is what it is today because of Seve. Ever since he led the charge in the 80's The Ryder Cup has become a huge event. RIP to one of the best.
We all have heroes , for me it was Seve , He gave so much , not only to the game of golf but as a human being !! I am now a middle age man and I´m not used to cry but the day seve did, I had to ...... descansa en paz Seve
Now how could this not bring a tear to the eye... Seve was my all time favourite golfer. He wasn’t the greatest golfer of all time (though he was great) but he was the most charismatic and most entertaining of all time. Sportspeople as raw and real as this don’t exist anymore. The emotion he showed on the golf course can’t be created or harnessed. It was a joy to behold. Rip. My childhood hero
LEGEND loved SEVE still have his autograph and ball from Irish open mount Juliet man was a gentleman the only player to come over to the fans at the 18th greenside to sign autographs for them will never forget that day thank you SEVE god bless
2:03...i was there at Chantilly Ford Trophy, with Betty King, Anne Marie Pally, Greg Norman and Seve He played driver kneeling, then used 3 iron to escape from bunker, and then this incredible putt over his shoulders... 3 amazing shots.. He was pure golf genious
Es una emoción demasiado fuerte ver unas imágenes de alguien que nos ilusionó tanto con el golf. Cada lágrima soltada es como ver volar esos golpazos al cielo.
We can argue that there were better players. But nobody did it like Seve. He was unique. One of a kind. In that respect, nobody can be compared to him. Such a unique talent. The world is a poorer place without him. RIP.
Beautiful. Never forget the kid from Santander who beat the world.
My Dad didn't care too much for the Europeans in golf, but he loved Seve. Swashbuckler, genuine, never give up, raw emotion with every swing. He was great!
So much passion. Every sportsman should aspire to this. Great golfer. RIP Steve..
What an absolute hero he was and always be … as Trevino once said of him ‘Touch of class, baby … touch of class!’ 🥰
Boy, I really miss this era of golf. Nothing better than listening Peter Allis call an Open Championship with Seve on the way to a victory.

Still remember when he knew he lost the 1986 Masters to Nicklaus. Seve was walking up 18, blowing kisses to the crowd. Pure Class.
sad sad sad sad
tears in my eyes

A dreadful end to the man who had it all, movie star looks, the greatest golfer ever, and sadly missed by me and his legion of fans
only a handful of golfers can truly say they helped golf become a global sport and few did it like Seve,God Bless you SB
Well said.

The star that shone so brightly. The greatest golfer to watch growing up. A true, brave hero of mine.
