Fantastic cars…. I parked my finicky, expensive-to-maintain 2008 S80 and bought a 30 year old 940 junker wagon with 300,000 miles on it. Everything works, drives like new, runs just fine on cheap gas, cheap tires, simple cheap maintenance and never gives me a lick of trouble. I load it up with my photography equipment and travel all over the Midwest US, averaging around 30,000-40,000 miles a year. So far this old Redblock Volvo is comfortable, reliable, robust and overall seemingly unstoppable! I’m in love with this era Volvos!
