    If you're seeing voltage drop at higher rpms I'd recommend replacing the alternator pulley for a bigger one. I've killed 3 alternators by over spinning them. Now I can do 7k+ rpm pulls back to back without worries.

    @SKOMPAS Год назад +35

    This has been a long time coming! So glad to see the Volvo ripping, I know you don’t want to do it yet but if you ever come to re-build the turbo system because of the back pressure or restriction issues from the last video, you should go to a simple twin turbo system, it’s more money but the fab is allot simpler and that 1000hp goal will be allot more achievable!

    • @_Gingium_
      @_Gingium_  Год назад +18

      Thank you brotha! So happy this car is finally performing.
      Twin turbos is definitely a good and easier option for HP and performance, but It'll be a lot harder to keep it sleeper and fit it all in the engine bay with valves and such.

    Stop throwing the shifter. Commit to the shift and don't take your hand off the shifter until you know it's in gear. You'll stop missing gears (as often)

    • @blahorgaslisk7763
      @blahorgaslisk7763 Год назад +17

      This makes it sound so easy... And guess what, it is. But getting there is the hard part. But yea, do some slow runs while really concentrating on feeling the shifter. Get a feel for how it engages, how the synchronization works and how the gear teeth match up. Then speed it up.

    • @280zone
      @280zone Год назад +8

      Yeah, a little less drama on the shifts (shifting and clutch), smooth and deliberate, it will come with practice.

    • @clubsport9334
      @clubsport9334 Год назад +5

      You yanks always feel like you have to "smash" it into gear with aggressive action. Smooth shifting is due to precise engagement/release of clutch and location of shifter. It's hard af to.donthat when you're trying to reef the the fuckin shifter out of the floor pan. Watch Japanese or euro RUclips channels to observe drivers changing gears quickly and smoothly.

    Little tip here from racing up at Bandimere, we mark our tire and wheel with a line to see if the tire slips off the wheel itself, id see if your tire is slipping through the wheel, we had issues with that on one of our cars and we ended up switching to beadlocks, I know you want the sleeper look but maybe try a set and see where you sit. We only gained like a tenth of a second but it all matters if your chasing that time
