Nice job dude, you’re killing it!🤘just curious, when you use profits from the stuff you sell to fund the collection, do you factor in the original cost of that stuff when calculating the percentage you spent vs. price charting? No shade either way, just curious.
Also, I’m a little disappointed we didn’t get a montage of you adding the new games to the shelf… 😆

Good question! So I only count money if it is money from my normal job income. My main source of income. Outside of the GameCube, 99% of the rest of my collection was purchased using profits from reselling. So almost app of those Wii games were purchased using reselling profit and not my main income. So I am basically recycling reselling profits. Hope that helps!
Congratulations with the collection so far, RetroWolf! I'm currently at around 110 GameCube games myself (admittedly, some of the games are not CIB, some of them are missing the covers entirely and instead have slip covers for the discs, and I also have one Japanese GameCube game, that being Super Mario Strikers, and even an Action Replay, also not CIB), and slowly but surely I'm working my way towards the full set. I honestly wanna start collecting more Japanese and eventually PAL GameCube titles myself, since some of the exclusive titles in those regions are quite interesting. Let's hope you can complete the collection by 2025!

Congrats on getting a lot of the more expensive ones marked off the list especially Phantasy Star Episode I & II Plus considering how hard to find it is.

The Dreamcast version of Phantasy Star Online 1 is also hard to find and is expensive, but not as expensive as the GC version.

As a person who spent the time to beat Trigger Man, I can attest, in the end it was not so bad. Aquaman and Charlie’s Angels are much worse. Keep up the sweet GC collecting videos.

Thanks dude! I do edit every now and then but my nephew Devon does 99% of the editing, he is a beast! And dude it is never too late to learn how to video edit. It is easy to learn the technical part of it. Tons of video tutorials out there. I'd recommend just diving right in!

Hey RetroWolf! Awesome collection my friend. I recently started collecting Original Xbox games and there are several of your Gamecube finds that I'm hoping to find out in the wild for Xbox! If you don't mind me asking, what mic did you use in this video? I am a RUclipsr as well and it sounds great!
I use a Rode NTG3B Mic. It is a bit overkill but I plan onnusingnit for shortfilms

I am definitely keeping the collection. I would only sell it if something really bad happened and I had no choice (knock on wood). I really have no way to calculate that savings but if I had to guess MAYBE 5%. It isn't much

One question: when you sold your WiiU collection or, anything at the booth and used the funds to purchase the expensive GC games, you mentioned it wasn’t funds out of your pocket. How is that possible? At some point in the past; you would have spent your hard earned cash to acquire the WiiU collection or, the other stuff you were selling. Technically you are recycling your original funds from one item to the other - that would need to be counted on “money spent” thus far. 🤷♂️
I didn't sell my Wii U collection I sold my Wii collection. 99% of everything else in my collection besides GameCube was purchased using profits from reselling on the side. I only count money spent if it is from my income from my actual job. Reselling profits don't count.
@@RetroWolf_YTthis makes perfect sense. Reselling profits that go into adding to the collection (directly or indirectly) should not count as money spent for the purpose of this series and cost calculation.
