I mean this is what you'll expect. Hands down the highest level matches on this game so far. The combos in this game are just other worldly, this is the closest we've come to MKX yet
Kenshi himself is not broken but the fact that he gets two cameos is completely broken. Kenshi is recovering from an attack while his clone attacks. Kenshi is blocking an attack while his clone attacks(from behind even). Kenshi is walking forward and his clone attacks. Glad to see NK figure him out
Watching this, the thing I'm most in awe of NinjaKilla's mentality. It's SO healthy. He takes his lumps like a champ and he's excited to learn from his mistakes, and a lot people just don't have that.

The high level of gameplay from Sonic and Ninja is insane. After about 4 years of MK11, this games looks like it will really take some getting used to.

I think Liu is fair and strong. Sub is gimmicky and strong. Kenshi is broken and the strongest, and Kitana is the weakest.

I love how everyone says Kenshi needs to be nerfed. Sonic just picks up fighting games faster than everyone else, they just need to catch up.
With the kameo system he is op because with the ghost they are 3 characters hitting from differents angles, from up, down and behind.. it's really a massive attacks...

Yo Sonic is definitely going to main Kenshi. They used the cameo as an opportunity to stance switch into the kenshis 2nd form MID combo, and didn't drop the combo 😮. Seems like sonic already put HOURS into that character
Yeah... that point he was ultra Sonic. At some later stages of the fight it also did feel like Ninjakilla was gonna evolve completely!

This is purely from an outsider perspective, as I do not own a next gen console and so did not get the opportunity to take part in the stress test, but it looks like of the four characters that were playable, the order from worst to best seems to be: Kitana, Sub-Zero, Liu Kang, Kenshi. That Sento stance is something else, man.

I reconize myself as a very casual player, but the fact that i played for like 2 hours on sub-zero in the Tower, learned the 5 hit kombos in the menu and thought "ok.. lets jump online" and probably played around 70 matches over the weekend and only managed to win like 4 ROUNDS... it was soul crushing to say the least.. people pulling 12-17 hit kombos, and i was speechless on some of the stuff you could pull with sub zero that i had absolutely NO IDEA. Felt horrible but the game its fantastic and loved it, but probably will stick to just watching other people play, dude.
That should make you wanna practice and get better though.
