Kenshi is one of the hardest characters to play in mk 1 if I’m not mistaken. To do what sonjc does with him you need to practice a lot especially with kwnshi
Kenshi is one of the most mechanically difficult characters in the game because it’s like having 2 movesets in one. When you’re in Sento stance, doing an input makes both Kenshi and Sento do a move, so you need to hold the kameo button to only do inputs for Kenshi, and let go when you want Sento to do moves along with you. It’s difficult to get used to

@@humbledayz4129People only want to play him now because he's ridiculously good💀super good strings, 52% for very little effort and good neutral. It's not that big of a deal since almost every character is good in this game but Raiden is genuinely nuts.

Raiden just has a great base moveset. The three lows and long strings that you can truly stagger make all the difference. Liu is way too Kameo dependent and I don’t know why NRS made him that way. I mean…5 high starters that have no range at all says alot. Liu needs some tuning. He’s got great damage but needs some kinda sauce.
They’ll balance it out eventually. At least we ain’t gotta worry about our boy getting the nerf hammer. More range and more air options would be a good start.

I knew Raiden was one of the better characters, if not the best before people figured out his combo potential. In my opinion I think it’s weird how liu kang had more fire like abilities in mk11 then this game when he’s a whole Titan now he seems even less diverse then in mk11 low key
The blue is fire as well,
well for majority of the story, he had given up his titan powers and denoted himself to a demigod
Lui only had fireballs in mk11, low and standard. And maybe the teleport can be considered a fire like ability.
In this game he's got the fireballs, low And high, the dragon kick literally has a fire dragon leading the kick, and his bicycle kick ends with a fire dragon coming out the ground.
Literally all his iconic moves are fire related now

That Raiden gameplay was tough
They need to put a feature where if you don't kill your opponent they will be given extra energy (ala Mercy), even if you knocked them down. If you are not willing to kill them then you must knock them down twice. That will give Fatalities and Brutalities more purpose
