An elevator ride with a special surprise guest at Fort Settlement Middle School!

Filmed on May 4, 2015: This was the school I attended when I started 6th-8th grade, so I went to take a visit today and got to meet all my fine teachers there, PLUS a huge thank you to the fine principal for inviting me here and letting me film your elevator! :D
This elevator has been broken down almost multiple times when I was here and some of my teachers and friends even got stuck in here before. So this explains why Schindler hydraulics are my LEAST favorite elevator model.
Even though I'm not a big fan of Schindler (nor anyone's a big fan of Schindler), this thing ran perfectly great. Notice how I cannot hold the door open or it'll malfunction. So this elevator kinda breaks down easily.

2:41. This is why many elevators in schools are keyed or badged off. Plus it can be dangerous prying the door open with your hands especially when it’s moving. Schindlers like this thing can break down a lot which I see that a bunch with Schindler and Thyssenkrupp.

I used to attend Middle School in Lincoln at Edwardsville and the elevator went 4 stories it had a weird layout and one time the elevator door got stuck it was a Montgomery.

No offense, but I am not going to violate any rules that the signs are displayed. If there’s a sign asking me not to prop the door open, I have to obey. Otherwise, I could get in trouble by management and possibly be kicked out of the building.

That middle school is a lot nicer than the one I attended. Have you ever filmed at your high school though? I haven't seen any videos from there. I'd film at my high school but its elevators are locked unfortunately, which is actually really quite sad because there is a Montgomery Vector and a U.S. Elevator there.

I'm not in high school yet I'm in my last year of middle school and it is only one story. The high school I will be going to in 2016 is mostly one story the is a 2nd floor but all it is are offices and the projection room for the performing arts center. I visit there for honor roll. there is an elevator but it's for staff only, it has no classroom access and it is a Thyssendover with impulse fixtures installed in 2001-2002

Superduper Julien My high-school has two elevators. One Montgomery Vector and one U.S. Elevator. Unfortunately both are locked and getting on them can be difficult to do without the key.

This elevator could be a 321A. And its ashame to hear that your fellow friends got stuck in this thing. Schindlers can misbehave sometimes.

It’s a 321A. Take a look at the door frame. On 321As, the side frame overlaps the top. On 330As, the top frame overlaps the side ones.
