I was really impressed with all the different designs from the same starting point. Well done to everyone that participated and well done Jeremy, it was fun even though I did not participate.
Definitely an awesome idea. Getting me and others pumped up to finally make their first knife. I will definitely watch for the next one. Was cool to see my knife on your video.
🎉👍 Thanks Jeremy and Zombie Joe.. Well done to everyone who took part. some outstanding work.😊 Sadly i couldnt join in , being without a forge for a little while, but look forward to the next build along.
Thanks for the shout-out @ 25:16 - I really enjoyed this project and learned from your build videos. I think you should make this a yearly or quarterly staple of your channel with different designs!
This was really fun to participate. Great to see my first knife in your video. So many awesome knifes have been made for that buildalong. Lets do that on a regular basis 😂 I know its much work for you, thank you Jeremy for the great motivation and guidance. One thing I‘d like to see in detail next time is sharpening. Keep it up buddy, love your channel
Awesome build. I do believe you have been outdone but they were all perfect. I see lots of gratification across the globe. Cool project. I hope to get involved in such a project someday.
Love the video cant wait to do my first knife, completely after the fact. I am using nothing but hand tools to build my knife. Have all the materials ready to go just waiting on some clamps from amazon. Should get started late this afternoon. Keep up the great work
Just a little mention about wood in chloride. I made beads for my paracord bracelets out of knurled woodworking pins and tried putting it into ferric chloride. Chloride stained the wood great and after putting some sno-seal on the beads it looks really great.
Wish more knife manufacturers made wharnecliff or sheepsfoot blades, i love that shape and the way you can put your finger around the tip for really fine control stuff
Great idea with the build along, it actually is my first project. Things are coming along nicely. I do have a question for Jeremy or anyone who could offer advice though. How thin should I get my bevel before heat treat?
so awesome to see how everyone's knives turned out! super cool!
Thank you for the design! Finished my build along an hour ago, love this knife!

i get mine to about 0.7-0.3 mm depending on the knife and how it's gonna be used
How much is this one going to be. The blade shape looks great and the handle is very modern. Great job

Hey Jeremy, what's the concentration of your ferric chloride?
your clamps don't sick to your scales with all that excess epoxy on them?
