Young girl has to face many strangers | Daddy's Girl - Short Film by Irvine Allan

Teenie, a seven-year-old girl, is abandoned in the rain outside a Glasgow pub while her father is drinking. Alone, vulnerable, and standing in the rain, we follow her misadventures as she falls prey to an old man, a stray dog, and two bullying older boys, before being temporarily rescued by a local shopkeeper. A bittersweet rites-of-passage tale, this short film poignantly makes us aware of the everyday life of many today's children.

The ending ending was supposed to be them just walking away, he never thought sound would hear him talking at the end and I guess director decided to keep it in
