🤣Dog had a field day with the toy. Mission accomplished.
What does a field day mean?
Just order either a Truck Lite or Peterson Mfg Co complete sealed system for a 53 foot trailer, take a couple days off, cut all that old Chinese junk off and install the complete sealed system on and forget about it and go trucking. Bill
I agree also I only run trucklite grommets. The fit and rubber quality is superior to all other brands from my experience
In regards to your orchid that you found, I just wanted to share that I was grocery shopping one day and they had a basket full of those little orchids like that. I think it was something like $4. When I got it home I googled the care instructions and it told me all I needed to do was deep soak the roots once a week and totally drain them and then don't touch them till the next week. That little rascal started popping open those little buds and it was beautiful.
Never a dull moment in life it’s always something Robert
hi yall , try putting die electric grease on all your connections on your trailer , that stuff works great , i been using it for years
I agree...dialectic grease is fantastic!
anyone else catch the June of 2023 tag on the Trailer Plates??
He forgot to put the sticker tag on the plates. He has the paid registration. How many cops you think already ran those tags on their computer to have it come back paid 2024.
@@antoniocampbell463 well dot didn’t notice he got inspected a couple of videos ago.
Lita is wonderful!
Ol Macky gettin after it lol.Looks like it’s time for a shop vac session lol 😆
I'm glad to hear that your grandmother is doing good
Robert, you must have a shirt made saying I don't know we'll see.
I dont know we'll see
Hey there! Just an idea for your electrical junction box spray some varnish to seal then if ever problems again u can see the colors of the wires! That’s what i do works good with all the salt we have here in Canada! Great videos!
Coating of grease. KISS not just a ghay band.
geez! mackie loved the shark! good luck ya'll !! glad to hear all the info! oh yummy! sheet steel !! cool
A lot of times it’s the ground wires that fail. They work with a test light but fail under normal load. Make a test light with an old headlight bulb. They take a lot of power and will find any weak circuits including the ground wires.
The very best coating for the terminal block is 3M Scotchkote FD This coating is designed for underground electrical burial splices . 15 fd oz can with application brush $60.00 Amazon , well worth it !
Coat the electrical enclosure with Dap 8889 tub and tile caulk . Do not use RTV acrylic silicone , it is corrosive
Get a small Pelican box and put in their drill hole in each end and run the wires in and then you can lock it up and seal it
Robert I'm in Phoenix and just spent 130 and it's just me and you keep getting closer to my house I live 18 miles east of Columbus
Those tags are important. They identify the material heat lots and material certs that maybe necessary depending on manufacturer requirements.
She is funny, good thing she is good with people!!
Picked up at Ryerson and delivered to American Trim. Great little $ 700.00 run!
Like when you talk about boxes and nuts.
Good evening
Mackie‼️😂😂
good job
Have the same problem with the KW at work with the transmission. You have to turn the truck off for 5 mins and let the system reboot itself. Make sure you turn the shift selector slow and stop in between shifting points!
Offer still stands to weld up the rad in columbus
He seems to be the type to kick the can down the road. Mind numbing hearing him considering bypassing the radiator. Welding it up is no simple task either. Lots of contamination, and thin gauge material.
Glad to hear Grandma is doing better. Its really nice you go see her every chance you get. Dude yall were in Sydney Oh, just 30 miles south of me. Im from Wapakoneta, home of Neil Armstrong. Stay safe out there you 4 & FJB 🇺🇸
Hey there, I love your channel! I'm a dog lover myself and you two have 2 really great dogs. Its so great to see you rescued them. I myself always do the same. Great channel guys.
those automatics have a nasty habit of overheating the clutches and the gear fails until cool
You have a faulty transmission selector switch. item recalled by Kenworth and Peterbilt. When it fails shut off your batteries Wait re-energize. Nothing wrong with your transmission! Wires get pinched inside the switch mechanism. Recall was on CDL life. Might not be your year model but it still has the same failure. The switch you select drive and reverse on the steering column for clarification.
That failure is defective wire terminations. Not pinched wires. Even if it were pinched wires. Killing power does nothing to change that condition. Eventually the truck will remain immobile because it receives conflicting commands and errors out to neutral.
@@Failure_Is_An_Option just reporting the details in the manufacturer recall. Peterbilt and Kenworth suggest recycling the power to get you back driving again. Until the next failure.
Mane Mackie needs a tonka toy!!! 😂😂😂😂 Gone in 60 secs!!!❤❤❤❤❤
Always check the ground when trailer lights start acting crazy.
Very good videos.
My basset hound does the same thing to any stuffed toy in minutes!!!
We had a Basset Hound back in 1960. Those little transistor radios had just come out & I used to catch 'Sam'(the hound) sleeping & put it up to his ear & turn it on, scaring him !! - One night we went to the Drive-In Movie & when we got home, Sam had destroyed my transistor radio ! - The biggest pieces were the battery & the speaker ! - The folks wouldn't get me another radio, so I learned a lesson !

Mackie definitely proved the toy wasn't mackie tough.
You two beautiful dogs they are complete opposites.
Mackie is more destructive and over energized and Fatbutts is more of a laid back, very chill and carefree
I would've pass on that semi as soon as I saw automatic and the cummins engine.
Hi Robert and Lita
Hello Robert.
You should buy a Dorsey aluminum step deck.
we use these for our dogs Benebone Wishbone Durable Dog Chew Toy for Aggressive Chewers, Real Bacon flavor , Made in USA amazon
Shifter stalk is probably the issue we seem to need them often. Next time shut the truck off cycle the key three times and when you restart it should pick up and work again
Orchids like indirect sun
If the truck is like my freightliner. It has a main switch and anytime I get a code or something not working right I just flipped that main switch off for like 30 seconds and flip it back on and it usually goes away and it’s fine so you might try that. Next time you get a code.
Every time ya talk to the garmin mines start trying to find the location u are going too craps me u every time 😂 I fought out how to use it from watching your videos never new u it was voice activated
Another great video! Glad your grandmother is well.
Curious why only Mackey gets toys? Is fat butts to old?
Love your channel, just drive the automatic transmission and do not worry about it. Sensors and electronics are finicky just reboot:)
No more squeaker!!
Tighten the nut down on the bolt before you put the wires on and then put another nut on top of that then you got a nut to tighten it to
Covid pricing on almost everything. Some businesses are trying to lower prices to attract business others are not. If folks would only buy what they needed to survive and not what they wanted, businesses would comply or shut down. Have good days!
Yep. Mine does that. Cut off and back on. All good.
My International Truck does that all the time backing up, its the clutch overheating. Nothing wrong with the Transmission. I took to a shop , they told me that and then charged me 2 hundred dollars to look.
My wife and I used to drive a truck every once in awhile it would kick like into neutral and would not go into any gear I would have to get out of the truck and disconnect one of the positives wait about 15 seconds hook it back up and it would shift fine
10k for the trans swap if done right is a good price. A rebulit 13 sp is around half that plus whatever else is needed and labor
Buy a test light it’s cheaper than buying a bunch of light
The transmission thing is simple. Take the key out for 15 minutes. Then let it cycle 7 times. The computer simply wants to reset its self.
Check the shifter stalk, my previous T680, 2021….was doing the same thing. Company replaced the stalk, and then it was gone….
Road sign at about 23:45 said Huber Heights, Ohio; Bucee's just announced a they are putting in an extremely large gas station in Huber Heights this week! It will be the first Bucee's in the state of Ohio. Looking forward to stopping there within the next year or two!!!
No trucks allowed.
We’re gettting one here in Va off I-81 can’t wait sux though they don’t allow trucks
Phaq bucees no trucks
The way that thing looked, it looks like its been riding full of water. With all those bolts rusted.
Can remember Mackie from first day use got her omg the change in her wow oh no Lita just smoke that plant
You got a bad ground somewhere Robert....time to start tracing wires.
Paccar auto transmissions are crap in some cases it’s cheaper to replace it than repair it
$10K sounds about right. I spent about $5K in parts including $1041 for the clutch, $3850 for the rebuilt 13 speed (including my core) and then $1980 for R&R transmission labor. You would need a shifter, a flywheel and very likely some programming changes to your ECU. I can't imagine hauling 77K with a low rear end like you have without splitting those upper gears. With my 3.55 rears I do pretty good. I just left that area of Ohio. Unloaded in Findlay on Thursday, and picked up a load in West Jefferson Friday that I dropped yesterday in Columbia SC. Heading back north next week.
Trade that trailer in for a new Aluminum Dorsey.😊
I said my "Hail Marys" for you guys
That's an early sign that your shifter fob is going out
Trailer wiring can be a nightmare sometimes.
So the hitting your head and changing some things comment is that from personal experience maybe Lita with a frying pan? 😆
That load was worth $12 to $1,500 hundred bucks
TOY TESTER
Yeah, issues like that are the main reason I insisted on getting a manual. Gonna get spicy in a few years because I've been look at (not for) nextgen T680s and I have not seen ANY used ones for sale with manual transmissions.
Guy, what's the light by the flower for? Tell you if you have a car on your right hand side? Blind spot indicator?
Yes
Yes fill the box with grease stops corrosion
Die electric grease in the electrical boxes and silicone seal lid and grommet openings. It's inevitable tho the corrosion.
I'd go with the 13 speed
Lita so 🔥!!!!!! Sup Robert! Fat butts and Mackie....... Happy Memorial weekend ❤❤❤❤❤
I've heard shark is pretty good lol
Robert, i have had issues with the auto trans on a frieghtliner, doing what your truck did, it turned out that the factory put in a inferior connector on those transmissions, every once in a while the damn thing would quit working right in the middle of driving,or stopping and taking off,,what we found out to get going we had to stop & turn off the ignition, then turn it back on and it would reset and go for a while,, after a while we found that the plug in was inferior so we wired it solid and not thru a connector..your could be a similar problem.
Your dogs are power chewers.
Wob!!!
If Lita binned those ugly wheel covers your lights would work better.
My automatic had 1.5 million miles on it before I put a 18 speed manual in it 15.000.00
Its normal to get auto faults from time to time just a glitch 6 quick key cycles willale them go away
I dissect toys.
Hey man. Would you mind showing the camera you use and what mount is that on the windshield? It has a swivel which I'd like to find one.. thanks and stay safe driver!
It’s a pocket 3
these days you must carry a code reader. it can save thousands.
K w have recall on those transmission check it out men
Happy Memorial Day
10,000 did not sound bad to me just spent 6,500 on a 1/4 ton GMC PICKUP.
If you would put dielectric grease on all that you'd be good givecit a try!!!
After the terminations are clean, and solid... Any grease works so use what you have for the truck.
t680's are real bad with electronic fault codes most of the time they can be reset by restarting it or resetting it by cycling it (there's a youtube on how to do that)
I started buying as much as i can locally and cutting out the big rip off grocers up here in Canada. they will eventually lose all my business.
In this "best economy ever" certainly you can put 3 grocery bags in a KW...
Any word on Mack tractor? Or did I miss its fate?
My opinion only but with all the time and cost you have put into the trailer would it not be in your long term investment to looking at something newer appreciate your thoughts on it shout out to letta and her multi tasking
Thank you
Nothing wrong with the trailer other than the shit repairs.
I d4ove a t 680 that said transmission fault cut it off and back on.Did not do it again
Who you pull 4?
I would have a 13spd than a automatic
If you just talk about $10.00/mile and don’t talk about distance, that’s “knowing your worth “

Macanatter
Mom hit her head I believe it was a month then she looked normal takes time. Make sure you get a rate confirmation these days can’t trust much people. Uneven ground can put trans in fault
