During the pandemic lockdown, I found your channel and you taught me the ease and the in's and out's of Indian cookery..I've never looked back and my family and I continue to love all your recipes. Thanks, Chetna!
Vegan tip! Instead of egg wash, use the Aqua faba that’s left from the chickpea water!! Thanks for this amazing recipe. Cannot wait to make it and dig in!
Hi Chetna thankyou so much for the recipe! Do you think I can freeze the pie after putting it all together in the dish and then bake it when I’m ready to eat it? A week later?
That's looks so delicious I will definitely try this at home hopefully 😋❤️🥰 you gave me so much ideas I can try at home with simple cooking 😃🥰😁 thank you so much Chetna ❤️
I'm looking to buy one of your books which one would you recommend the 30 min recipe on or the easy baking I cant afford the two sadly but I'm wondering which would be most beneficial thank you Chetna 😊
I’m curious are salads common in India and if so what would separate them from salads typically enjoyed in the west? I’ve been trying to think of ways to get more vegetables into my diet and very interested i’m trying to find a way to get Indian spice into the dressings. And while I don’t dislike leaf lettuce salads I find myself enjoying salads made with other vegetables as their base.
Just to point out that, while a can of chickpeas weighs 400g, the drained weight is about 250g-thus, these two tins will weigh about 500g in the pan. Dried, overnight-soaked chickpeas approximately double in weight by the time they're cooked, so I'd start with 250g dried product to get the required 500g.
Thanks to share about this amazing recipe.

1:35 🤣I love the aggressive comments like this, as if knives can't be sharpened. Lovely recipe, btw. Have been enjoying 3 of your cookbooks!
Chetna you can also grate the cold, hard butter into the flour 🫠

The end product basically looks like an Indian samosa with salad
so good though
Please I hope you will not eat that hot pie
