Jaded - Chelle Tamika

‘Jaded’ is inspired by a documentary I watched about Zimbabwe’s mineral wealth, including gold, diamond and platinum. These minerals, which have the potential to transform Zimbabwe’s struggling economy are continuously exploited by corrupt governance. Ultimately, only the wealthy benefit and everyone else is left to suffer. This same pattern is apparent across most African countries.
My single sheds light on reclaiming what’s ours, as youth (from different African backgrounds) and being proud of what the Motherland has to offer.
I was so blessed to be able to work with a group of hella talented people to bring this song and vision to life and I can’t wait to share it with you guys! 💎💎💎
