Rix flix sorry if I am bothering you because this video was posted almost an year ago but isn't storm force kind of a kid ride, because you said no kid rides on the list two times in the video.
It almost made the list, but when I thought about it...it seems to me every time I go on that ride the other people seem to really enjoy it and like it, so for that reason I didn't include it. Personally it's a skip but I can't deny others seem to like it.
1. Fast and Furious 2. Fast and Furious 3. Fast and Furious 4. Fast and Furious 5. Fast and Furious 6 Fast and Furious Long wait awful ride. If I lived in Universal Studios and had all the time in the world that ride would still be a skip.
I love it for how unique it was, like it's legitimately like no other ride/attraction in America. Maybe the closest thing would be the old tour of Cinderella's Castle that I think Disney Japan did.
I know you hate to be critical, but videos like this are super helpful for people planning a trip. If you have one day and try to get the best stuff in Studios and IOA, something's gotta give. Probably more than six things.

We will be at Universal for a quick weekend to celebrate our sons birthday and our wedding anniversary in one trip. Your videos have helped us plan out everything. 21 days and counting for our next trip. Flight of the Hippogryph is always a must for us, almost a tradition because we went on it on our first trip thinking it was a different ride. We were so excited as we were first in the queue, just for the wrong ride. 😂😂😂

BrickHero Studios honestly, if you don’t have time it probably is skippable but I think it’s worth experiencing at least once. It’s dated but the theming of The Lost Continent is so beautiful and there’s not much else to do in the area. I think if they updated Poseidon’s Fury it could be great again. Shrek on the other hand needs to be demolished.
Great list man! I personally would replace Poseidon's Fury with Fast & Furious Supercharged, that ride really sucks. I actually kinda like Poseidon's Fury, but I know I'm in the minority :)
Awwww love Posiden's Fury! Total must do! You can't see anything like that anywhere else! The effects are a little dated but that is part of the charm. :)
I'm glad when I bought my tickets, they had a buy 2 days, get 3 free promotion! We were able to do eeeeeverything, and on the remaining days just stick to what we love. Great video! Although we saw the animal actors show three days in a row 😂 We just love it!
Last Sunday at HHN saw a large group of people wearing, "bring back Bill and Ted" shirts. While I did enjoy Academy, would love to see Bill and Ted back as well.
Just a quick comment about the Raptor Encounter, the posted wait time is based on where the queue ends not on party size; often times you can get there in about half the posted time.
@@RixFlix If you see lots of strollers and/or small children in the queue, I'd suggest to hop in line, if it's mostly adults and teens, I'd move on to other parts of Islands, there's a TRex photo op that's fun and has no wait time, or get a photo with the TM in front of the raptor encounter queue time posting :) The Jurassic Park TMs are among my favorites as well! I'd suggest a visit to the Discovery Center for a photo with Dr. Woo as well!
Rix, maybe a follow up to this post could be a history lesson on F&F and why it is so universally hated. Personally, when riding it last year, we were quite underwhelmed by a new ride on how unimaginative it was. Must have spent their wad on developing Hagrid's. Keep it up! We watch you all the time. Hope to see you in mid November.
How is Shrek and Poseidon's Fury on this list? Shrek is an enjoyable way to beat the heat, and Poseidon's Fury is the best in Orlando. A real list: 6: Hagrid's (it's a fun ride, but through the long waste and constant break downs, it's not worth loosing halve your day for) 5: Storm Force (It's the tea cups. Nothing Special). 4: ET (painfully dated. It's sad to see this ride in so bad shape). 3: Fast and Furious (It's a bad ride. I enjoy it because it's so bad, it's good. However, if you go in expecting a good ride, you will be disappointed). 2: Universal Superstar Parade (It's not that great). 1: Horror Make Up Show (Easily the worst thing Universal has ever done. The show is not only painfully boarding, but painfully stupid. The comedy style in the show doesn't fit at all. It's dated, and should be replaced. It's the worst in the park).

I'm over from the uk right now with my family and we did the vip universal tour yesterday (despite the monsoon level rain in the morning) Kellie our guide did an awesome job keeping us in the dry where possible. Best thing - we had back door walk on access to hagrids skipping the 2+hour queue woo! Gonna be in volcano bay this Wednesday and have a private upper level cabana booked. Look us up if you're there then!

This top 6 was a bummer (especially poseidons fury i love the archaeology-gone-wrong theme and 80s tech) but totally understandable still super interesting and useful for visitors so thank youu! Shaggy in the background is every unsupervised small child. I love when you guys get the inside scoop on the future goings on. I wonder if the change from 3d to 2d for dispicable me was so children would have an easier time enjoying it? Like 3d may be too intense or the glasses fall off or get lost because ya know children. I went to universal this July and you are going to love but it's what I learned from my mother wait till the last week before you buy your tickets foryou might get a really good promotional deal my mother and I got our tickets a week before we left and scored a promotional deal 2 park to park for 5 days with fast passes that costed .......1100 dollars.if you go online and look at their normal prices you will see how this was a great deal we saved probably about seven hundred bucks

I have to agree with this list including possibly Hagrids. It's a great ride but the wait can change your whole day especially if you don't have a whole day. We went to Hagrids last Sunday and saw you guys, but we didn't get chance to talk to you guys because we were in line while you were leaving. Just want to say thanks for all your helpful tips. It definitely helped us around the park and for horror nights
I’m so glad your video was themed to skipping these attractions if you are limited time. Every “Don’t ride these rides” video on RUclips is always mean spirited, and also always contains at least 1 must ride ride just to start arguments in the comments section. I agree with your list 100%. Poseidon’s Fury has amazing theming and is really breathtaking the first time you see it. However, the queue is dark as anything, and it’s just camped and crowded and my daughter couldn’t see half of the show because of the layout. Now my daughter and I always ride storm force, but that’s because it’s more tradition now instead of it being a ride we can not miss. Counting down the days to our trip in January and hoping to see you at the park maybe one of the 4 days we will be there.
It you have the time, do every thing! You're there for fun and doing stuff you can do where you leave. But if you not there for multiple day, hard choices must be made.
We actually wanted to do the raptor encounter when we were there, but looked at the line and decided to skip it. That was before Blue. Hope we get to do it next trip.

Me and my girlfriend loved Poseiden's fury. We do have a bit of a performance background though so maybe that comes into play. I'd be very happy if they modernised it a bit, particularly the CGI effects
I think Poseidon's Fury is beautiful and breathtaking even though it's outdated and makes you feel like you are in a other world .in the inside there's some really cool things that you have to lease experience once. It is corny parts of it but the ending of it is cool, I love the spinning mini hallway you go through. And the cast guy in there is actually pretty funny in a corny way ha I feel like if they updated what you were seeing in the inside because it's kind of like a play and a comedy show mixed into one they could totally do so much with it in the inside and make it a whole new show. If they revamped it and put some money into it it could be pretty cool again.
I agreed with the list! 👍😁 Despicable Me Minion Mayhem doesn't bother me that much that it's not 3D especially when I compare it to Wild Arctic at SeaWorld, but 3D is still great! Happy Halloween Rix! 🎃
Interesting idea for a top six. I can understand why you selected what you did, even though like some of the others I would prefer to do Raptor encounter rather than Fast and the Furious. Time being the key I can totally agree with your point of view. Poseidon's Fury totally should go and I agree that Shrek has had it's day. As for the new stunt show I will have to wait and see for myself what it is like.
We didn't do storm-force during our visit but we did do the rest of the attractions on this list. My husband and I were lucky that we had three and a half days so we never felt rushed and were able to do pretty much everything we wanted to do. I do agree that the animal show and Poseidon adventure aren't that great. Lol

It's close to the hulk ride, it's okay. It's just a normal tea cup ride, spinning you around. If you have time to kill, you can try it, but if you only have time to ride like 2, I would not recommend riding it
I agree with Poseidon's Fury. It's a shame they haven't at least updated it because the building itself really is awesome and so much could be done with it.
I disagree with #1. I love Poseidon’s Fury for the fact that it is some really cool effects up close and personal. Is it outdated? I agree there, yes it is a bit. I just love it regardless because it is one of the few day one attractions that still exists and I always manage to have fun with it. Does it take a bit of real estate time wise? There is the issue, yes. Is it fun though? Absolutely, and that water tunnel always take my breath away when I see it. I personally can skip Race through New York and F&F.

I agree these are all skipable, but am really surprised “slow and curious” didn’t make the list. lol. In fact, I think we did skip most of them. Aly did make me go on Storm Force and said I have to do the tea cup ride at Disney.
The problem with Poseidon is that you are standing around listening to cornball jokes and really tedious cartoons. Standing. When your feet are murdering you. You are standing. You wait for 20 minutes in line, standing, there is no ride, you walk from scene to scene and stand. It's literally the opposite of fun.
I am wondering if it starts out Bourne, and they can update it easier to other stunt shows moving forward. Terminator was kind of specific to just that. Even though I really loved it, and watched it every visit!

I'm going to Universal with my family in December, and while getting ideas and making a plan I found your channel! I'm hoping you might be able to help me, I've been trying to find a good list of child friendly rides and activities at Universal to do I have a 3 year old and a 1 year old. I know the youngest won't be able to do much, but my 3 year old is super excited to do things. Anything would help out, thank you!
Awe poor Shrek. I've only been to Univ. Studios once...back in 2005 or 2006...I think Shrek was one of the newer attractions. And IOA was only a few yrs old too, I think so I didn't go their. I'm taking my hubby in January. I wish I could show him the T2 stunt show in 3D...I was a little sad to see they stopped that one last yr, maybe? I'm okay with the Borne franchise taking it over.
Honestly, I skipped minion mayhem on my last trip. I rode it my first time and liked it but didn’t think it was worth the long, or picking it over another ride at opening
I would LOVE if they would bring Bill and Ted back, and AoV went back to the streets instead of the lagoon show. AoV’s two best years were 2016 and 2017 I think, and both of those were street shows. Let’s bring that back!
While I very much agree with the list, I almost feel like there should be a 7th on here... :O Shock!! Fast N Furious... I really feel like it could be skipped. To me, it just didn't hold weight. We were there when Horror Nights started this year for the first time on limited time, and went through Poseidon's Fury twice, much to my dismay. It's a cute one and done, but totally skip-able.
I prefer Bill and Ted even though the first time I went to see was when they had the farewell tour in Hhn27 I hope it comes back to hhn. It would never be the same without ❤️
Juandaniel Herrera definitely Bill and Ted in fear factor that is always the home for them. I’m not sure about academy of villains being at animal actors but it could possibly work out perfectly
Plus, I have enjoyed AOV in the streets, but they get more production value in that stadium...what will Universal do. I really, really like Bill and Teds
I have been told it's getting a new show on the USA network and 3 new books coming out, so may new life....or maybe the show is canceled after one season
I feel like Storm is very underrated. It’s rarely over a 5-10 minute wait. We get the biggest smiles and belly laughs on that ride with the kids. We love it!
Yes, I agree with fun, especially if you can it really spending. It made the list because I think people can get this type of ride experience at multiple places.
More skippable attractions: 1. any flat ride 2. fast and furious 3. jimmy fallon 4. the simpsons Personally I love shrek and poseidon, especially now that shrek is closing soon if you've never been it would be worth a go.
I would have subed "Poseidon Fury" for "Doctor Dooms FearFall" if it's even still there. Poseidon at least is cool inside on a hot day. An Once Poseidon is gone you will miss it. I won't miss the "Dog Show" once they build Nintendo Land Where that Animal Show Area is. George and Fifel are also leaving and making way for Nintendo.

Even though Shrek is old and needs some TLC, It is one of my must do's when I come. I leave that ride loving it every time!

On hot days we really like Poseidon's Fury, since most of the line is inside and cool. And without a doubt, the queue is the best part of F&F.

Every “Don’t ride these rides” video on RUclips is always mean spirited, and also always contains at least 1 must ride ride just to start arguments in the comments section. I agree with your list 100%. Poseidon’s Fury has amazing theming and is really breathtaking the first time you see it. However, the queue is dark as anything, and it’s just camped and crowded and my daughter couldn’t see half of the show because of the layout. Now my daughter and I always ride storm force, but that’s because it’s more tradition now instead of it being a ride we can not miss.
Counting down the days to our trip in January and hoping to see you at the park maybe one of the 4 days we will be there.
It you have the time, do every thing! You're there for fun and doing stuff you can do where you leave. But if you not there for multiple day, hard choices must be made.
We actually wanted to do the raptor encounter when we were there, but looked at the line and decided to skip it. That was before Blue. Hope we get to do it next trip.

Me and my girlfriend loved Poseiden's fury. We do have a bit of a performance background though so maybe that comes into play. I'd be very happy if they modernised it a bit, particularly the CGI effects

I think Poseidon's Fury is beautiful and breathtaking even though it's outdated and makes you feel like you are in a other world .in the inside there's some really cool things that you have to lease experience once. It is corny parts of it but the ending of it is cool, I love the spinning mini hallway you go through. And the cast guy in there is actually pretty funny in a corny way ha I feel like if they updated what you were seeing in the inside because it's kind of like a play and a comedy show mixed into one they could totally do so much with it in the inside and make it a whole new show. If they revamped it and put some money into it it could be pretty cool again.

Interesting idea for a top six. I can understand why you selected what you did, even though like some of the others I would prefer to do Raptor encounter rather than Fast and the Furious. Time being the key I can totally agree with your point of view. Poseidon's Fury totally should go and I agree that Shrek has had it's day.
As for the new stunt show I will have to wait and see for myself what it is like.
I say do everything if you're here on multiple days, this was just for time sensitive guest. I'm hoping to see something innovative in the stunt show
We didn't do storm-force during our visit but we did do the rest of the attractions on this list. My husband and I were lucky that we had three and a half days so we never felt rushed and were able to do pretty much everything we wanted to do. I do agree that the animal show and Poseidon adventure aren't that great. Lol

Everyone should go to the F&F ride. It's the best ride there and not just one time, please try it many many many times. Keep going back to that ride... please...

Love you guys great videos it's because of you I went to universal this summer for a whole week I was hoping to run into you guys but didn't oh well I'm planning on coming back two years from now. Other than that I knew you were going to pick Poseidon's fury for number 1. I enjoyed it but I can easily see why this was your choice.

When I was at the park I never even found storm force
It's close to the hulk ride, it's okay. It's just a normal tea cup ride, spinning you around. If you have time to kill, you can try it, but if you only have time to ride like 2, I would not recommend riding it
I agree with Poseidon's Fury. It's a shame they haven't at least updated it because the building itself really is awesome and so much could be done with it.
It's like going back in time, they done nothing to that show
I disagree with #1. I love Poseidon’s Fury for the fact that it is some really cool effects up close and personal. Is it outdated? I agree there, yes it is a bit. I just love it regardless because it is one of the few day one attractions that still exists and I always manage to have fun with it. Does it take a bit of real estate time wise? There is the issue, yes. Is it fun though? Absolutely, and that water tunnel always take my breath away when I see it.
I personally can skip Race through New York and F&F.

I agree these are all skipable, but am really surprised “slow and curious” didn’t make the list. lol. In fact, I think we did skip most of them. Aly did make me go on Storm Force and said I have to do the tea cup ride at Disney.
Only if you're short on time, if you have time do everything.
The problem with Poseidon is that you are standing around listening to cornball jokes and really tedious cartoons. Standing. When your feet are murdering you. You are standing. You wait for 20 minutes in line, standing, there is no ride, you walk from scene to scene and stand. It's literally the opposite of fun.
I am wondering if it starts out Bourne, and they can update it easier to other stunt shows moving forward. Terminator was kind of specific to just that. Even though I really loved it, and watched it every visit!

Awe poor Shrek. I've only been to Univ. Studios once...back in 2005 or 2006...I think Shrek was one of the newer attractions. And IOA was only a few yrs old too, I think so I didn't go their.
I'm taking my hubby in January. I wish I could show him the T2 stunt show in 3D...I was a little sad to see they stopped that one last yr, maybe? I'm okay with the Borne franchise taking it over.

Always one of the longest waits, but they have added single rider for busy days.
Poseidon's Fury needs to be reworked as some kind of dark ride.

I would LOVE if they would bring Bill and Ted back, and AoV went back to the streets instead of the lagoon show. AoV’s two best years were 2016 and 2017 I think, and both of those were street shows. Let’s bring that back!

While I very much agree with the list, I almost feel like there should be a 7th on here... :O Shock!! Fast N Furious... I really feel like it could be skipped. To me, it just didn't hold weight. We were there when Horror Nights started this year for the first time on limited time, and went through Poseidon's Fury twice, much to my dismay. It's a cute one and done, but totally skip-able.
I like Poseidon’s fury. Hate fast and the furious. Also hate that ride through New York thing.

I feel like Storm is very underrated. It’s rarely over a 5-10 minute wait. We get the biggest smiles and belly laughs on that ride with the kids. We love it!

Personally I love shrek and poseidon, especially now that shrek is closing soon if you've never been it would be worth a go.
I would have subed "Poseidon Fury" for "Doctor Dooms FearFall" if it's even still there. Poseidon at least is cool inside on a hot day. An Once Poseidon is gone you will miss it. I won't miss the "Dog Show" once they build Nintendo Land Where that Animal Show Area is. George and Fifel are also leaving and making way for Nintendo.
