Happy to donate again! Was there with my wife Lori on 10/17 - 10/21/19 and we rode Hagrid's a few times, and had a few long waits during a breakdown. Riding in the sidecar made me slightly motion sick vs riding on the bike. I was so happy that I rented a wheelchair or scooter this time due to my disability, but my poor wife wouldn't sit on my lap and chose to sit on the hard ground.
Hi Rick and Nikk! I think DreamFlight is an awesome organization. Thanks for promoting it! As someone with a disability who loves Orlando Theme Parks, this one really means a lot to me! I tried to get on Hagrid's with my Return Time Access Pass, waited two hours, drove around Jurassic Park and did some shopping while I waited. When it was time, and the trains were right in front of me, the technical difficulties announcement was on the speakers, I waited about 30 more minutes; then a weather delay announcement was on the speakers. I looked at the radar on my phone, and asked a student (TM) what the chances are of me riding this today or if I should try again tomorrow. She said, I can't say whether or not, and then showed her the radar and then she said if your going to be here tomorrow, you may have better luck. Sadly I didn't get to ride Hagrid's during my last visit to UO, but I exited the queue, and did get to ride Forbidden Journey twice in a row - it was a walk on. The good news is I booked a 12 night stay during Mardi Gras and hopefully will get to ride it many times!
Watched your videos for 9months now. From the UK. Came to Universal in May just me and my partner but suprising the kids with a new year trip for Christmas. We're hoping to see a yellow t shirt while we are wandering the parks. My 10 year old is a big fan. Keep up the great videos. PS only just subbed after 9 months even though we watch every video!
We were able to ride Hagrids one time on our visit with just an hour total so we felt pretty lucky with that. Nice to meet you at the park! Wish we could have met Nikki, hopefully when we are back next month!! ~Dawn
You're a brave man, Rick, placing yourself in the line for Hagrid's Motorbike Adventure over and over again. 🏍 Thanks for sharing the fun with us! 😄 When you were in the main queue, did you find the tribute to Dueling Dragons? Ironically, this Easter Egg is Harry's Golden Egg (from the Dragon Challenge in Goblet of Fire). It is fittingly found in one of the cabinets in the room with the many dragon eggs. 🥚 Nice Rix Trick (11:36) to hang out by the mermaid until they need any single riders--particularly if they're telling you the Single Rider Line is not available yet. When we were there in September, we just hung out at the official Single Rider Line split until they opened it up. There was a ride attendant hanging out with us--no problem. 👍

I commented this on your Instagram but last week we went 2 days. The first day the line moved quickly and never really stalled more than a few mins. Wait time said 120 mins and we were off the ride in about that time. We got front row by luck! Yay! 2nd day we got in line with the same wait time and it got delayed.. and the delayed again.. and again. It was torture. We waited about 3 hours as well. There was a German couple in front of us that left the line only 5 mins before it got up and running again in the room with the random exit. I felt so bad! They didn’t speak much English and didn’t understand why the line wasn’t moving. It finally got up and running again and it moved fast after that. We happened to get the front row for a 2nd time we rode it! It was awesome!!! But that wait was horrible lol. It’s so loud in the room with Hagrid riding the motorcycle. I wish during a delay they’d turn it down some!!! I couldn’t listen anymore lol.

The best tip I can give you is to watch for spring break schedules in Feb. I use to always get mine in late Feb (other counties might get them at other times) and from what I hear that's an awful time to go

When i went back in August the ride was down with some technical issue for like 5 hours .... you should have seen that line. But when they reopened it i was at the front... also in the line i didnt realise how long that tunnel was to pass through

I’m thinking about doing this on my trip in December but I’m scared that this might somehow take more time if they just don’t open it at all, or if the cast member makes us leave or something. Also! I getting so excited. We are less than 30 days until our trip for 5 days at Universal. I just bought tickets for my daughter and I to the special dessert party with concert and parade. But, noticed that it was a blocked out day for pass holders. What do pass holders have to do to see the concerts? Do you have to buy a day ticket? I think it is crazy for a pass holder to be blocked out of any days!!!!!! I don't understand.

rode this on opening day. As awesome as this ride is, I still don't think it will measure up to "Star Wars - Rise of the Resistance" when it opens on December 5th. Any chance you guys take on that attraction on opening day?
Rode this a couple of days after this video and the ride actually stopped on track right after the part where you start to go backwards. We sat there for a few minutes then started back up again just to stop in the tunnel. Silver lining is that we got to ride immediately after getting off...then it stopped again in the tunnel..🤦🏻♂️
Since my youngest brother was too small they gave him a certificate saying when he is tall enough he and 5 others would get priority, however me and my second youngest brother just used the certificate and got on the ride within 5
why would they be shutting down the line around 3 or 4. If the park is open till 5 you should be able to enter the line up until 5pm. Disney doesn't do this for rise of the resistance.
I did this two days in a row and the staff were so dishonest they said the delay would be 2 hrs. Many people left the line and then they opened 20 minutes later both days. 🙄
What is this "bathroom break" you speak of where you can get back in line? I tried googling bathroom break in line at Universal but got nothing but Disney stuff. Is this "bathroom break" a thing that Universal does to keep your spot in line?
Its impossible to ride this ride now because of the virtual lines. Spots sell out in seconds and if you dont have the newest and fastest phone you wont ever be able to ride.

If you go on the right day and at the right time, the advertised wait time can drop to 75 or even 60 minutes, and even that's probably exaggerated.
The lowest I’ve seen was 90 mins, but it was only 75 mins
when it was open to the public the first time ever there was 3 hours of wait time but it was actually like an hour maybe less

Wow what stamina to wait like this! You are very dedicated! Not once have we tried, lol ! Maybe in 2020 sometime ! Can’t do those lines , lol !!!

We waited 2 and a half hours a couple of weeks ago, well worth the wait but wouldn’t usually wait that long, you can get so much done in that time.

I found when you start waving a handgun around, things like lines stop becoming an obstacle to me riding as much as I want.

Since my youngest brother was too small they gave him a certificate saying when he is tall enough he and 5 others would get priority, however me and my second youngest brother just used the certificate and got on the ride within 5

why would they be shutting down the line around 3 or 4. If the park is open till 5 you should be able to enter the line up until 5pm. Disney doesn't do this for rise of the resistance.

Is there a video on the best shoes to wear for waiting in line for 3 hours? I did Disney last year in new shoes. Not smart.
I would were memory foam tennis or sneakers shoes.
I literally just left disney today..I brought 2 pairs of Yeezys to switch and wear in the parks. I was very comfortable my whole trip.

I feel kinda bad for you. I was able to ride this 7 times on a January day and I still did everything else I wanted to do (in both parks).
If you have to see a restroom, do you have to go all the way back or ist there a special exit in line?
Depends where you are in line, you either go via the ride exit or entrance.. it’s a pain either way if ur in the middle of the line

I did this two days in a row and the staff were so dishonest they said the delay would be 2 hrs. Many people left the line and then they opened 20 minutes later both days. 🙄

What is this "bathroom break" you speak of where you can get back in line? I tried googling bathroom break in line at Universal but got nothing but Disney stuff. Is this "bathroom break" a thing that Universal does to keep your spot in line?
The ride broke Down for a long time so I left it to go to the bathroom, they said “sure go, will remember you were in line”
Question, do you think that all the Disney openings are making Universal less exciting if you've been there before?

Its impossible to ride this ride now because of the virtual lines. Spots sell out in seconds and if you dont have the newest and fastest phone you wont ever be able to ride.
