This is freaking hilarious! I listen to this story every year when we get snow here in IL. I am laughing and crying from laughing every time I hear it! I It just sounds better in Polish! 😂😅😊🤣
Funny, people think that living in mountains or in a cottage is like never ending holiday, but it's not. Same as moving from na apartament to a house with garden. People have no idea how much work it is to keep it well-maintained.
Indeed, I have quite a few acquaintances (my parents' friends mostly) who'd bought their "dream houses in the woods" and now that they're all around their 70s they constantly complain about all the work and maintenance they have to do. Snow in the winter, grass throughout the rest of the year, flooded basements after heavy rains, mold that's impossible to fully eradicate, wild animals destroying gardens, etc. And I'm just sitting comfortably in my city apartment without any care at all simply incapable of comprehending why would someone willingly stay in those conditions. Especially since they're NOT poor people who just had this lot in life. They bought those houses in their 50s mostly and still have their city apartments they could move back to at the moment's notice, keeping them "just in case". If you ask me, the case is already here.
I agree with you. I live in the countryside and there is a lot of work at any time of the year. Work is 40 km away. I am planning to move to the city, because there is no need to work so hard and there is a job at hand.
I lived in the Karkonosze Mountains for 20 years of my childhood and this humorous video is unfortunately true for people from the city :). And I sent this video several times to people who wanted to know what it's like to live in the mountains.Regards
As someone who used to live in a house and shovel driveways during winter (not Karkonosze though, mercifully, so not as much snow) snow plows have almost supernatural tendency to appear 5 seconds after you're done just to waste the last hour of your work.
@@RobReacts1Partly, that is a saying in Poland 'Going to Bieszczady' which means to leave all problems you have on the place of living and go to the wild/countryside to have simple happy life. I think Bieszczady fits more to this story.
Aaaah. ❤ I've read this milion times and every time tastes amazingly. ❤ Just I knew it as "domek w Bieszczadach" not "w Karkonoszach". Bieszczady are another mountains in Poland. Not so high, but the wildest we have.
I love listetning to this. I have a colleague who is from Wałbrzych, acity located in mountains. We always roasted him when he said something about having problems with commuting to work. How did we roast him? We played Domek w Karkonoszach.
Karkonosze are popular in nider Silesia they are very beautiful and lovely to walk during all the sessions but during the winter they can be dangerous and people who live there buy supplies and other stuff just before the first snow. Winter is a busy time as many people arrive for skiing and hiking . But when there is heavy snow, the hiking routes are closed. But in my opinion Karkonosze is better than Tatry mountain and have more to offer.
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂 * Im living in a Van since 1,5 year because I was chasing freedom... And now I'm free to run for a water all the time and a place to clean my toilet 😂😂😂😂😂
Jak to oglądałam po raz pierwszy popłakałam się ze śmiechu. Później widiałam tem filmik kilka razy. Bawi mnie za każdym razem.
Now we're translating copypastas for Rob? Alright, time for "My Dad is a Fishing Fanatic" 😂
It was made into a short movie so should be great for reaction.
@@konradmaksymilianmastalerz Ta, zajebisty film. Później zrobili równie dobre reklamy chyba dla allegro.

Hah, that was literally my first thought when I saw this video!
Antologia Polskiej Patologii is truly a masterpiece and I would love to see a reaction to Pasta o Mentosie.
It's a yearly tradition to watch it at least once every winter 😂
Mieszkam akurat w tych Karkonoszach :). Pozdrowienia dla służb drogowych w zimie oraz saren i jeleni przez cały rok na drogach :)))
I saw it 1000 times and watch once again with you Rob ;)

Haha
I knew a version of this story happening in Bieszczady. And it's more like a diary or memoirs than a set of postcards :)
Similar I would say
@@RobReacts1 Yeah, quite similar

9:00 Living in the mountains isn't easy. That is why mountain man (górale) are considered to be strong and independant.

How they say in Poland: Neighbours apples taste better. ;)
Haha
in our mountains there are still many charming places far from civilization, but suitable for a weekend, unless someone is a hermit
Yeah I did work nearby in gory suche Walbrzych in border guard . We were jumping into snow like into pool somtimes.

Expectation vs reality😂
This story reminds me of the movie "The Shining".
More than that I am reminded of "The Money Pit" with Tom Hanks. I love that movie.
It happened to me the same. 50 km from Warsaw in the woods. But I got additionally a flood every year in Spring time when this white shit melted!
This video reminds me of the 1988 movie 'Funny Farm' with Chevy Chase. It was supposed to be so wonderful, too 🤣🤣🤣
Dobre😄
You are welcome Rob! Told u it's gonna be funny. :)
So now it's the time to watch "Styrta się pali"
