Hi Julie … I like that the background turned out the same color, and I think a slightly darker background would look great, too. As a non-crafter, I’m always amazed at how the resin moves and reshapes itself into such beautiful patterns. And I love the contrast of the blue on one of the other ones you did from this mold and technique. ❤
It's gorgeous! 🤩😍🤩 There seems to be a gold metallic hue to the brown that the lighting was picking up, but it makes a great pairing with the copper-ish hue from the inner petals. Things may not always turn out as intended, but it's usually an interesting and fun journal to get there. Thank you for sharing your craft with us. 😊🙏

The center is gorgeous. Yes, wow. To me the “ blobby areas” gives the petals a more realistic look. I’m surprised the brown wasn’t really dark😮. I think the other was gorgeous. Oh this one is stunning with the colors you used. 😊❤

I love this one, but also the first one you did. I love both of them, they are beautiful! I love the fact that you show us your mistakes as well. How are we to learn, and not feel as if we are doing poorly when we mess up. I remember in high school, I took art my senior year and I needed an elective. I was so worried because I could never (still to this day) draw a straight line. I didn't need to worry because my art teacher graded us on trying. Looks great! Ideas for colors try a green background as in leaves of a plant. The next time you have brown left over try pink glitter or rose gold glitter in it. Love what you do. Huh the pups for me!
