Hi I am a new subscriber to your channeI and I am also new to epoxy residents. I accidentally saw a video of resin on RUclips and I immediately fell in love with it. I really love the stuff that you make I think they always come out so beautifully. You also teach me so much about how to use resin and I also learn from you what products work well and some that don't work to well. All in all thank you so much for being a teacher to me I am very grateful for being able to learn from you...😀😍💖
Oh And... you're so energetic and adorable while sharing so much knowledge I'm very motivated to try this. I've been writing down my own ideas & budgeting! Thank you Julie for being an outstanding beacon and teacher!
I used to look for different tutorials; when I noticed the times of your videos, I thought, I am not watching that long video! One day I started watching. I felt bad for thinking that! I love, love, love your videos & how you share your experiences & thoughts. Your videos are the main ones I watch! Thank you!! Keep up the beautiful tutorials & please continue sharing. I enjoy so much!!
So gorgeous! I before I saw you edge them in silver I was thinking it would look cool to lightly tip some of the waves or crinkles in silver or white, very faintly. Beautiful!
WOW!!!! THe Krylon silver/gold etc., markers have a 'v' notch in them which makes the perfect for outlining, I use them even on paper with no mistakes.
I wrote a long comment moments ago. Then, my Internet went down! Basically, I was trying to convey this… I admire you so much! I have been watching your videos nonstop, for weeks now. I am addicted! I love your attitude. I love how you are so experimental. I love how talented and fearless you are. Your excitement and passion comes through your videos! I just love everything about the way you share yourself, your ideas and so many other things! It would take me days to list! You are an inspiration to me! Today I tried my first resin project. It is very hard to find products here, where I am living now, in a different country. I have been gathering things during the past two weeks plus. Finally, I was able to purchase some A and B, mixed it together, added some beautiful colours. I was so excited! Unfortunately, it turned out to be an epic flop! But, at least I tried, I will try again tomorrow and continue on. This is all because of you! Thank you, you are an amazing person. I truly appreciate all that you share, and will continue watching and trying my hardest to have the attitude that you have. I will continue trying my hardest, not to get disappointed, practising patience when things don’t go exactly as I envision. Love and prayers to you. I just wanted you to know, you are effecting someone, (me), in such a positive manner. 👏🙌❤️🙏💯
These are stunning! What a brilliant idea to use the clear plastic wrap for texture. I've been afraid of resin, but it looks like i need to overcome my fear and try doing this!
One of the things that I love from your videos is that you ever stop creating new things, tecniques or wherever! You're an incredible artist that compart all your nowledge to all of us! And all is so awesome!!! 👏👏👏👏✨🤩❤️
I love the beautiful finished projects you get. 💜💜 WAY too critical of your own masterpieces!!! There's a reason why people LOVE receiving gifts that artists have created themselves, or buy pieces of handmade art...because they're HANDMADE with so much LOVE!! It's very clear that you love what you're doing, every single time. Remember, it doesn't need to be-- in your eyes-- "perfect". It looses the look of love, handmade pieces of art. But, hey...JMHO, FWIW, YMMV. 💜💜
Julie these are absolutely beautiful! I appreciate all the love and hard work you put into these! They are so calming and tranquil! Thank you for this video. I also just wanted to say that I loved the longer video. I grabbed myself a coffee and sat with you for a blissful hour. Gave myself some me time and I absolutely enjoyed every minute! Warmest Wishes to you!!!!!❤️😃
I must say I enjoy yo voice an hav learned a lot , you bring that sunshine in to my life..Thank you fo being you Tryin UV Resin to start . Dee 🌍Washington, State
These turned out absolutely gorgeous! I’m glad you added the dark blue, it really set it off! And the pattern Julie, how cool is that, you did it again, awesome job and as always, thank you for sharing with us!!!!
Julie, Hi from 🇨🇦,Toronto I just love your artistic endeavors😄You are so creative and I watch you every day. Many times a day. These are so beautiful . Thank-you for your perfection of every project. 🤩
I live in the Appalachian mountains most of the year and I’ve found that in late summer I cannot use resins at all. There is so much moisture in the air here when the weather is hot and humid the resin will blush the entire surface. I use a dehumidifier also and just doesn’t help. Once it gets cold enough for heat and it notably dryer the resin cures really well. The other half of the year I live in southeast Texas near the bay. Regardless of time of year there is no blushing there. Of course even within a mile of the Gulf of Mexico the ground stays very very dry with large cracks if you don’t use a sprinkler system. But higher elevations here in the east and the vegetation/forests in summer prevents using resin.
Hi Julie, I love the effect of the clingfilm (I'm in UK) they are so pretty. Hope you don't mind but I'm going to have a go at doing something similar. (I don't sell my stuff, it's for me. At 71 I'm well retired, but don't like being bored) Thanks for sharing x
Wow Wow Wow!!!! I'm so glad you tried this ~~ I haven't thought about using plastic wrap in my resin! Yes, love the technique and the result....... can't wait to try it out myself!! Thank-you! :)
Gorgeous effect!!! The white residue stuff forms only on the hardener (Part B). For the Stone Coat resin and the Dalchem, you showed Part A, but we will believe that the other bottles are clean too 😀 I am in Europe and we have different resins, but still your observation about the blush may be quite right!
These are beautiful! And even the back is pretty! I do like the white but it does remind me more of the Arctic. I would love to see one with a caramel base that looks like sand. I love the torn kind of cracked Edge of this mold. Absolutely gorgeous!
My work table is not level either. I have a hutch type pegboard on the side nearest the wall and that makes the top dip a bit. So I had the same problem you have in a sense. What I did was, I took the flat board I use and put screw in type legs/feet on it and leveled it that way. It works perfect and I don't have to keep re-levelling or worry about the sticks under it, plus its a little elevated so I can store my wipes underneath! I like that you make molds, it's a versatile skill and if you ever need a specific one you can make it yourself! These came out really pretty! the white makes me think of an arctic ocean with ice! I'd have used tints or inks since they are more transparent with maybe a teeny bit of mica for shimmer. Ooh, imagine mixing the resin with sand for your bottom! that would be neat! I hate amine blush!! it usually tells you how moist of a day it is though as it tends to be worse on humid days. (it's a reaction of a type of chemical in the hardener that reacts to moisture and carbon dioxide, which makes winter pours a pain with a heater)
It reminds me of white caps on the water. I grew up off the coast of Florida.
Love them.
They are so beautiful. I love the effects of the colours, peaks and falls. Very cool.

The bottom looks like white marble. Very pretty, like ruffled silk or faceted jewels. Very unique.

That was beautiful. I would love to see that technique on a bowl with a sandy color in the center like it's an island
I love those! I like the way you did the white and gave it that texture.
