    Very pretty suncatcher I love butterflies! I have a couple of tips for you. First, with those pesky bottles the alcohol ink comes in, I use products in similar bottles. I find I have to pop the tops off on a regular basis and clean them with a toothpick. Also if I remember to set them down hard on the table after I am done with them it helps to force the liquid out of the narrow tip and back down into the bottle. I would use a jewelry wire to string those but if you are going to use the nylon thread be sure to seal the knots with something, they will come undone pretty quickly. Either a drop of super glue or a drop of resin would help to hold them

      Very good tip on the jewelry wire..I had the same thing happen to my windchime..my daughter hung it above my sink in the window an boom knots came undone an down it came

    Hey Julie.....love, love, love!!!! This is definitely in my "Julie's Top 10 Favs!" 🦋💖🦋💖🦋
    Also, the plastic-coated wire is called picture/mirror hanging wire. It comes in all gages from very thin to extremely thick depending upon the weight of the item hanging. In the US we can purchase this wire from Home Depot, Lowe's and just about any custom picture framing shop. I'm certain you have similar counterparts establishments in your area. Hope this helps. 😉

    So I just watched your video and it's from 3 years ago and you probably already learned this by now I work with beads on a regular so what you need is crimper beads and what these are used for is when you take your wire what you're going to do is you're going to bring your crimper bead slide it on bring the end of your wire through then you bring the end up through the crimper bead pull it tight and then clamp it down and it'll seal it and you just clip off the piece that you don't

    They are pretty. I love sun catchers and wind chimes and I normally have them all around my house. Until I moved to the beach. They rust in 6 weeks. These are something you would make for yourself or as a gift or someone would buy it because you made it. I couldn’t afford the time and materials you put into it.
    I liked the ink one the most and you threw him out. He could have been something else. 👀 I love that you said an inch of the fishing line stuff, my brain still works in inches. You live in the same suburb that we stay in every time we bring our puppy down for surgery. At the tiny dog hospital and I think we built their new hospital in fees. My husband can’t pronounce your suburb. He makes me laugh every time he asks me to put it into the GPS.😂 ❤️

  • @rejara
    @rejara 7 месяцев назад

    A little late, but I just found your channel...
    Might I suggest, with the rings that you open/close, that you use a dot of UV resin to seal the ring ends, so they won't snag on the line, esp if you're using such a fine filiment.
    Also, there are various types of TigerTail that's used for beading. It'll be a little stronger to better handle the weight (esp if in a windy area), and might work better with lining up the dangly bits as they hang.
