- This weeks recipe is Keto Coffee Cake in a Cup. This is a easy to make Keto/Low Carb friendly mug cake dessert. Mug cakes are a delicious way to satisfy your sweet tooth but also manage portion control. We have several other mug cake recipes on our channel and these are nice recipes to have in your keto arsenal recipes. So as I edit the recipe video, when it's all done it will look like this is a very easy dish dessert, but in the background I know how hard Sarah worked to perfect this recipe, I had to eat several failed versions of this recipe. I just started a few months ago viewing your videos. I am a diabetic and have alot of weight to lose. I came off my meds first of year, but started going back to bad habits. Now my BG is out of control. I just started getting back into keto. Your videos are easy to follow. I love the interaction with you and your hubby at the end of videos. Oh I thought this would be flavored with instant coffee for a coffee cake, but thanks anyway, it is easy to make a mug cake and alter it as you like, good job, looks yummy.
Coffee cake generally means a plain kind of cake with a streusel topping, usually with walnuts or pecans. that goes very well with a cup of coffee.

The beige one with the pink handle is Starbucks from Valentine’s Day a couple years ago, I don’t think they make it anymore. The clear one is dollar tree 😮 I was shocked to find the perfect clear mug/cup there. I just got it too, hopefully dollar tree in your area is selling it 💞

Oh I really like your idea of putting your silverware in stand up containers. My kitchen doesn't have built-in drawers & I hate having my silverware tray on my counter. What are the containers called your using ,or what are they made of? Has to be something heavy so they won't tip over. BTW the Coffee cake looks Yummy & your blouse is sooo pretty!!

“Coffee” cake gets its name, because it’s eaten WITH coffee.... not necessarily that it has coffee inside the cake… This mug cake has no coffee in it, but feel free to enjoy it with a delicious cup of coffee as it’s meant to be eaten. I hope that clears things up for you. You’re not going crazy 😆 🤪
