I am getting emotional at all the matches of everyone in this draft league. I see people preparing awesome elaborate strategies and calculating every move, but this game RNG design mocks all your tatctical genius. Please somebody mod the pokemon to ban crits and moves < 100 accuracy, and only then I would call this draft league an actual fair sport rivalry :)

@@Shan12Nasser There is so much more to moves than just damage. Instead of RNG accuracy they can penalize stronger moves with downside effect ( e.x Close Combat ), or special condition ( e.x Poltergeist, Sucker punch ), or lower PP, and many many more. Pokemon designers were pretty creative with these up to this point.
I dont think you realise and understand how good of a creator and battler you actually are and quite frankly, it pisses me off.
Give yourself more credit, you did an amazing season but above all that, you have so many dedicated supporters (and im jealous) ❤
Ok I don't usually pop into comments but,,, girl despite how rough this game was no one can say you didn't give it your all this season. Awful way to go out but making semis is already such an achievement ESPECIALLY after playing some of the best and closest games of the season. You've been playing like an absolute champ and losing a game like this is not reflective of the skill you've shown this season. Watching your journey this season has been so inspiring, I been watching draft since I was 13 years old and finally getting the chance to watch another girl succeed in a space I've loved for almost half my life means so much.
For what it's worth from a stranger on the internet I am so so proud to see a fellow woman killing it and I know you've got it in you to get the Shanghai Dreigons a championship ♥

You and I did have a conversation after our game. I will tell you the same thing here as I did during then. As horrific as this game was, I hope you know that none of this takes away every wonderful thing you have done throughout this season. You have made a lot of great people here a believer in you and see what myself and everybody have known since day one. A fighter. You have inspired a lot of people to chase their dreams here in Pokemon Draft League, despite who they are, what they stand for and what norms exist here. How it all ended is something you did not want, but let this be a clear sign that you my dear friend have arrived. You will now continue to rise above in the PPL and every other league you compete in next. Your story has only begun and I'm excited to see it all happen before my very eyes! I'm proud of you for everything you have been able to do and I wish you nothing but the very best. ❤

Hey there Elly, hope your doing as good as the situation allows it. I personally, and I'm quite sure I'm not the only one, really enjoyed the wild ride that was this season. We're living in times where its easy to find a bunch of characters, playing there role in in entertaining others on the internet, but its rare to find people that show their actual emotions during something they love. I greatly respect your decision to upload this video as it is and share that with an audience. To be honest, that's a big reason why I again and again end up watching your videos, because I feel every time like I'm watching some one who has just fun doing what they love. Well, fun and the rest of the emotional spectrum. Stick in there! Better times are hopefully waiting just around the corner ^^

This one was rough, the turn 1 was bad enough but that hurricane and what came next was just awfully mean. I only found your content a week ago with Ice beam jolteon, and you're so entertaining to watch, especially because of how much you care about the matches!

honestly never expected you to make it this far and i'm really glad you did. looking forward to your PPL run. i don't put a lot of effort into this game so i can only imagine how heartbreaking it would be if you did only for it to get dashed like that. even so, i still hyperfixate on losses more than i'd like to admit. oh well, it's just a game. congrats on making it to semis. honestly that copycat jolteon play last game was still play of the season. i'll always remember that one. your love of memes has always been my favorite thing about you.
That RNG was incredible, what a horrible way to go out after a great season. Keep your chin up and you'll kill it next season.

great work making semis elly, and big ups for keeping fighting despite the withdrawals - i've been out of my adhd meds for similar reasons for a while and it's kicking my ass. i'm not sure i would've been able to do mocks, show up, play through all of it too. looking forward to more content from you, and i hope you're able to get ahold of your meds soon fam.

Man that was rough….I definitely feel you, rng can be really brutal in Pokemon. The amount of bs that can completely screw you around every turn is disheartening, but you did great this season, and should feel proud about making it to semifinals! I’m excited to see future leagues.

As a fan of both players, this was one of the games I was looking forward to watch the most, especially due to all the circumstances of it. It's extremely unfortunately that it ended up going the way it did. Although Uzi's prep was brilliant (with Specs Dudunsparce looking ridiculous), I think the matchup was relatively even. Both of you had tanks and powerful wall breakers, but sadly, sometimes the game decides who should win right from the get go, throwing all of our preparations down the drain no matter what you try to do to climb back. It's surely a frustrating way to end the season, but that doesn't nullify your incredible journey, Elly. Just making it here even after everything you went through during the season (both in-game and IRL, too) was remarkable. You're a total proof of resilience, determination and strength, and it's totally okay to feel upset when something like this happens. It doesn't make you any worse of a person. We are all very proud of you ❤️
