My nan used to sing this to me when I was young and couldn’t sleep. It was the song we played at her funeral and it’s one of my favourites. So rare to find a version so beautiful! Perfect 👌🏼

More than Ronnie Drew’s version? Come on, this sounds very artificial as compared to that. Completely has taken out the folk music aspect and turned it hipster. I like The Wellermen but this is just not good.

Yes. I guess I am awaiting another voice complaint. Either for
•clapping ( fists/ open hands/ chest / knuckles etc )
•dancing ( trying a type of tap / Irish style crossover plus on pointe - dance and train balance / stretching etc. ( the later two in a subway because handles!
The best if you have a tiny space and outside is quite dangerous.
Sooo...can I rent the space in a subwoofer or 1.5 x 1.5 feet in front of a loudspeaker ( maybe 3 feet × 2 feet when I am asleep aka not moving, barely breathing - I can slow the breathing down quite well)
(I know the answer is no and it's insane, but it is so nice to imagine for just one time , to be " hugged" with pure "sound and whole body vibrations".)

Hopefully there won't be another noise complaint while I forget time ( and how loud I really am , trying to figure out where I could fit in my voice.)
And no, let's say 10 voices sounding like 15 doesn't make it easier, not knowing anything about subharmonics, just trying to fit in somehow, especially if you are going from minor to major, it doesn't help at all for a total noob.
Especially while moving.
Who would have had guessed that singing and training with a mask on would come in handy one time - like anaereobe training.

I slowly get it , I can hear Lauren despite Bobby, in her chest voice, because her 2 highest notes are too high until I really strain. Around the 100 th view. It's so dang difficult. 10 voices sound like 20 .
