I absolutely LOVE this! It's EXACTLY what happens in my house. My pig Penelope can be sound asleep, but if I open a bag of chips or a box of crackers or, well anything, she comes running!!! If I get in the fridge, she's right there behind me thinking she hit the jackpot. This made me laugh SO hard. I HAD to share it with my friends. Thanks so much for brightening my day! :)
I know the feeling we have a Julianna too. Except ours is much bigger do to being "loved" alot. What do you feed you little guy and how much daily? I'm trying to figure out why diesel packed on so much weight. He is almost 300lbs after losing about 50 over the last 4 months. He is our first pig. But he trust me the way yours does you. I can clean his eyes ears and teeth and he doesn't fight me at all. Very strong bond with him. But every time I try to eat he is there and I fall for it.
His diet/calorie intake depends on the season. His staple diet consists of 1 cup twice a day of his grain pellets (specifically for mini pigs) and will get snacks throughout the day usually consisting of fruits or vegetables. During the spring/summer I limit the amount of "snacks" he gets because he'll spend hours grazing outside, he is more active in these months but eating more. Did you weigh him to get an accurate weight? The first thing to do would be to avoid junk food/fruits with high sugars and cut back on how frequently you feed him.
