      When you choose print label at the post office, will a QR code bar code be sent to your to phone or email address to print at the post office?
      I ask because I don't have a printer.

      do you think it's worth selling online if you live far from a post office? i live 20 minutes from the nearest one. double that for the drive back.

    A few other things... first, always print the labels at 100% size, which should take half a piece of paper. Shrinking or enlarging the label can mess up the bar code as it could alter the proportional width of the lines/gaps in the bar code, making it unreadable. Second, try to put the label on one of the largest flat sides of the box. The best scanner is always the one above the belt as mail passes beneath it, followed by the on underneath. Avoid using the smaller sides and ends of the box. Finally, if the box side is two flaps, avoid putting the label across both flaps. Boxes sometimes flex as they move through the system and that seam between the flaps is a weak point. If it starts shifting it can mess up the bar codes or even the address. If the side is too small, put the label on so that the address and bar code do not go over that seam.

    Couldn't have asked for a better video.
    Thank you.
    Question though: what if im mailing an envelope with say stickers or a bookmark . Would i do the same process . Like dould i need to weigh it to find out how many stamps it would need or can i buy a label and have customer pay exact shipping?
    Sorry, probably a dumb question but I'm clueless.

      Totally not a dumb question! We have a how to on First Class Mail that would help answer your question: ruclips.net/video/4jEBEFS8M_o/видео.html

      @@InnominateKraken I have a question, idk if you will be able to answer it, but I’m from NJ and have to ship a pair of shoes (shoebox and all) to California. Which shipping method would be affordable? USPS, FedEx, or UPS? The package is 3 lbs.

    • @InnominateKraken
      @InnominateKraken  3 года назад +1

      @@jenniferms3605 It's cheaper to use USPS. They also have a Priority shoe box you can use that'll fit the box with shoes: store.usps.com/store/product/shipping-supplies/priority-mail-shoe-box-oshoebox-P_0_SHOEBOX (there are also videos on RUclips that show how to modify Priority boxes further for cheaper shipping)

      Thank you!! Glad it helps :) And to answer your question, I'm not quite sure. I've tried creating a label for my own padded envelope, but since it weighed less than 13 oz it was considered First Class mail -which is a service you can't buy the postage online for with Click-N-Ship.
