      Dreaded Lobster can always hit the ball short and wide just over the net make it difficult to volley :)

    What was the Dizzy K song released about ’81 (before Baby Kilode). Mid-tempoish with a lyric that went something like: “You say you love me”. Had a video too that was in rotation on Nigerian television at the time?

    These are good. I also found that lobbing with a lobber is a good strategy. They don’t expect that. The lob is a counter punch. If you lob, they have nothing to counter. I say to myself, “Okay we will play this game.”

      Munchi munch I was having an issue of the light reflecting off the board making hit tough to view. I think I’ve problem solved it though. Thanks for the tip though, much appreciated!

    You’re assuming every shot they hit is a lob. No, if i hit a short shot they hit an approach and came to the net. These opponents hit short serves and shots to pull us in then lobbed me or my partner. We play at a low level. I’m looking for what to do when a team draws you in and then lobs you.

      stop at service line when you come in and use good footwork to do an overhead/swing volley. Unless you are super short....With good footwork, 2-3 steps should cover anything behind the service line before lob is def. determined out.

    So, when facing lobbers, use the drop shot.

    pure genius. but you can't use this tactic all the time, right ?

    • @Playyourcourt
      @Playyourcourt  4 года назад

      Thanks, glad you enjoyed the instruction! It's best to keep your opponent guessing but ultimately if they can't problem solve the tactic...keep going to the well!

    If I play a lobber and I get a sitter while their partner is at the net, sorry but their partner is eating that ball.

      Scott Waldrop it is fair to say sometimes that’s exactly where the ball should go...perhaps towards their feet however ;)

      Agreed. If the lobber isn't making contact inches off the ground in the kitchen, the lobber can instead rip the ball at the guy at the net .
      IMO nailing that sort of low dropshot is tougher than hitting the angle. Wouldn't the angle be a safer play ?
