Let’s go Anna! Moonballers are so annoying. They really test your patience and shot tolerance and I had to learn to not try to do too much until I got a short ball.
Are you also going to make a video about the advanced level to take the ball earlier? I am a short player and wenn they play high with top spin and the ball penetrates a lot, I don’t have any chance. But how to train hitting the ball in the rise?
I coach 2.5 ladies, and when they play against a constant moonballer I teach them to move into no mans land and take the ball out of the air as a high volley. I don't teach them a swinging volley or to take it on the rise because it is too difficult for them. I think moving in to take it as a simple high volley with a volley stroke is all they need to do, and then move up to the SL.
the fact is, most people who didn't start playing tennis as a kid and reached certain junior level, would always look robotic in video. She already moves better than a lot of the adult women players perhaps because of her ballroom dancing background.
The moonball is an unfairly maligned shot imo. It is not an easy shot to execute well repeatedly. Alcaraz used the moonball to devastating effect this year as a change up. If it’s good enough for him, it’s good enough for us.
Probable version of the story: the husband is a busy millionaire working while a Balkan coach is teaching her tennis to hit a penetrating ball to go too deep.
it isn't slow. She played tennis on and off for 2 years and most women do much worse playing for 2 years regularly. Her groundstrokes are steady and she learns high FH/BH quick. Of course her serve could be an issue as Nick mentioned in the video but overall she is making good progress.
@@yatubik Exactly! If people film themselves playing tennis, there's a high likelihood that they'd look a bit robotic like her too, unless they played junior tennis at good level or reached something like 4.5 recreational level already.

I’m so thrilled that my favorite tennis player is back. . So fun to watch. Great coaching!
🙌
Does she have to pull her ass out so hard in every shot? She thinks she's doing an instagram reel
Ive seen Anna make amazing progress with your lessons. Good to see.

Anna, I am so happy you are still playing, great exercise and you are simply, The Natural.
I really enjoy your coaching sessions with Anna. I try to copy her style. I started taking lessons 1 1/2 years ago. Thank you!
Awesome 🙌🙌
Anna is back!
v2.0
🙌
She is doing really well for someone who practices high FH/BH for the first time!
Great lesson Nick! 👍👍👍
Thank you Hans
Anna is my favorite....she is the best

16:25 was that a scorpion in the back on the court?
YEESS!! 5:52
hi to all, here I am, the Moonballer 😉
😂
I came here thinking we were going to learn how to moonball 😂
Future moonballer Alert 🙈😅🤣
u devil
How long will it take until she gets rid of the stiffness
The natural, would have been the greatest of all time if started playing at a younger age. Anna, you will win them, you will win all of them.
Anna is getting better. She still seems very robotic in her movements. Hopefully she can loosen up a bit? Maybe I'm wrong.

For a pro dancer, she's stiff. She's slow to move her feet in anticipation of where the ball is landing.
"old guys are full of tricks" ahahah
"But before we do this.... "😀

Moonballers should only play other moonballers. They shouldn't share their misery with others who play the game with integrity. Amen
Coach Nick… you sly devil you…

Anna needs to move her feet. Coach is wonderful though
Longest intro ever. Clothes are still on but excited for part 2.
its behind the paywall
She's still so stiff and rigid with her movements, I thought she would have much better footwork and anticipation if she's a pro-dancer?
I believe she cares mostly for style and looking good than learning the fundamentals. Her progress is sooooo slow....
14:25 She was out of tennis with an injury for a year and a half.

She is not playing tennis to get paid. She can progress at whatever speed it is. I think she has improved a lot actually!
