I just discovered this channel, and the passion with which this man speaks about lizards is beginning to compel me to consider getting one.
the passion and care that just pours out of him when he talks... is something to tip a hat too. I thought i loved my hobbies xD. Used to have an Iguana, loved having it. Subbing even tho I dont want another atm xD

Same my sister has a snake and wants me to get a snake. She showed me snake discovery, but I was like, “Nah, I want a lizard.”
This is why I cannot youtube. My search started with Bearded Dragon care and took a rapid turn onto "I'm about to spend $1000 on a lizard" street.
I am going to assume you want a beginner lizard since that's what a beardie is but since you don't want a high maintenance pet I would suggest a leopard gecko. Less space less food and they don't really poop on you. You feed them once a week and their fine.
Went through something similar this week. Seen some videos friday. Got a ball python sunday. Spent about 500 on good supplies for him. I had a corn for 8 years and a Leo now so I'm glad to get back into it

@@carlitosx21primal90 well iguanas are a out of the question reptile you should never get. Chameleons are hard to care for and cwd get big and ppl dont know how to care for them properly

My dream lizard has always been the tegu! Since I was 14! I’m now 28 and I have an iguana and a silkie bearded dragon! As well as an axolotl and a stripe knee tarantula! This channel makes me so happy! Keep being you Clint!’

1. build it yourself.
2. Get light fixtures at hardware stores instead of pet stores. (make sure to get the right bulbs and to get sturdy enough fixtures for basking lamps)

Love this channel! Just found it and I wish it existed when I was a brand new herp keeper! Getting back into the hobby because my son decided he wanted a "PROG" at the pet store. The advice given is realistic and informative!
I love leachies because they are so big but still calm and they look like dinos especially their eyes. When you said their bite is so powerful and they will shake their head the tegu was just so innocent it was so cute.!!!!!

Im rewatching this video for some help, im having a really hard time deciding between an ackie monitor or pair or a blue tounge skink, i need an animal that is really good at handling but also super interactive, i love both but ugh theres something about monitors! What do you think?

BTS are a constant entertainment, they love exploring and on the flip side they're snuggle beasts. I don't know much about monitors but I love my skinks and they're ridiculously easy to care for.

I want to thank you for this channel's existence and for granting me the knowledge of the existence of Ackie monitors. I've been watching this channel for a few years now and after this video came out my heart has been absolutely set on keeping one (a goal not yet achieved.) When I first saw it in the thumbnail, I thought "That is the most lizard ever," and it is just everything I've ever wanted in a lizard.
I think I'm in love. This guy is so adorable and passionate and genuinely lovely to watch. I am hooked.
this was a well thought out video, i love the enthusiasm and it definitely would grab younger viewers attention. the ONLY thing i would change is i wish youd go over parameters more, like tank size, basking temps, humidity, diets rather than just generalizing like “oh this needs an extremely high basking temp!” which is really vague and a matter of opinion, and i know itd make the video longer. but what im getting at is that you do have a younger audience that possibly wont do their research and potentially give their animals bad homes. regardless, im subbing because i enjoy your content
