Maybe they have both but breeding rooms are extremely expensive and something only rich quarians like captains, counselors or admirals can afford. Given how important they are I would think each lost ship is given a heartfelt funeral and is mourned deeply by every quarian who bore it's name. Mostly because of their unique biology, they need specific conditions for them to live, even mildly comfortably. Also, the Citadel Council has not officially gave them sanction to colonize any planet due to them having no official recognition inside the counsel due to their removal of their embassy. Even still, the Quarians have tried in the past to colonize planets, but usually end up being run off them by more expansion minded and far more numerous species like the Vorcha or the Krogan. IIRK, there was 1 case where they petitioned the Counsel for colonization rights as it was a planet that was easily defensible and perfect for their biology. But the Counsel took a very long time to come to any kind of decision and some Quarians grew angry and impatient with the bureaucracy, so they colonized it anyway. This just lead to the Counsel rejecting their petition and gave the planet away to another race. This further damaged relations and the Quarians own in-house factions decided that conquering back their original homeworld was the only option left for them.

I love Quarians. And the Vodyani. Just generally nomadic aliens... And nomadic fantasy cultures in general... And the Mongols... I just really have a thing for nomads, don't I?
Quarians are another Mass Effect race I don’t have a high opinion of. I either side with the Geth or save both. I cannot in good conscience choose the Quarians. They don’t learn from their mistakes and have accountability issues. Wanting to return the Geth to the subservient role is a bad idea. Slavery much? Their retort to being held responsible for developing AI illegally is to say “But look at what we lost….” Getting a Quarians to say what they did was wrong was like trying to get a flat earther to develop a single model that explains the seasons, the stars; gravity etc. I digress. Tali is amazing. I dig her. I always skip the interrupt though.
I love Tali, but I find myself getting annoyed with the Quarians and their treatment of the Geth too. I often always choose to make peace between them, but if I had to choose I would side with Legion and the Geth
Wouldn't it make more sense to legally enforce a two child policy for zero population growth? If every couple only had one kid you'd be halving output each generation.
Matthew Wingad they have a one child policy so pop. doesnt get too high but when it drops too low they temporarily repeal it so it can get back up and when its high enough they enforce it again
Something I don't understand is why did the council not try and talk to the Geth, to give back Rannoch and they could find a new home since they are AI. IMO and the opinion of a good chunk of Quarians at least a generation or two back can see that this is the Quarians fault and from an outside perspective you can't blame the Geth. It's the same with our own slavery looking back are we really shocked that slaves rebelled? or at the very least called and campaigned for change? Not that places like the US and many other countries weren't killing slaves but if they did kill at the rate the Quarians were deactivating Geth I think that the African Americans would have turned a lot more violent than they did and that is why part of the BLM movement does seem/is tending to lean more on a more violent method than groups like it have focused on in the past ( that's not a bad thing tbh because it's not without cause). I remember on my first ME3 playthrough I had no hesitation in saving the Geth over the Quarians, I didn't Import the save due to me playing ME2 on PC and ME on 360 but I knew what Shepard has done for the Quarians (well everyone) and for Tali who in canon becomes a much more respected member of the Quarian people so them not listening after you've helped them time and time again just annoyed me to the point where I stopped listening to Tali and felt like saying "Blame your admirals who won't listen."
@@MrNomad-vy8yl I do not understand that need to see any society in which they help each other as communists when it is obvious that it is something else, that only shows that we demonize anything by references from the past.

Any attempt to open diplomatic channels with them failed: the emissary ships sent to start negotiations were attacked and destroyed as soon as they entered Geth space
I can imagine learning how to talk would have been a problem for their young with those environment suits covering their face. Much like how the young who had difficulty learning to talk with covid masks over everyone’s face. If you can’t see how someone is moving there mouth it’s a problem when learning language
I love Quarians. And the Vodyani. Just generally nomadic aliens... And nomadic fantasy cultures in general... And the Mongols... I just really have a thing for nomads, don't I?
Hello Eldari craftworld from WH40K
Hello Quarian microfleet from Mass Effect
good vid
Nice i have a theory as to why thessias air is toxic after the reaper war
i can see tali face
It's a mod
ME3 Nexus Tali Remastered Mod
Who’s here because of legendary?
How do they brush?
This implies they use their mouth to feed. You don't know that.
How do they sleep?
How do they take a dump?
They probably have tubes hooked up to their respective holes.
Bosh'tets ;)
Quarians are another Mass Effect race I don’t have a high opinion of.
I either side with the Geth or save both. I cannot in good conscience choose the Quarians. They don’t learn from their mistakes and have accountability issues.
Wanting to return the Geth to the subservient role is a bad idea. Slavery much?
Their retort to being held responsible for developing AI illegally is to say “But look at what we lost….”
Getting a Quarians to say what they did was wrong was like trying to get a flat earther to develop a single model that explains the seasons, the stars; gravity etc.
I digress.
Tali is amazing. I dig her. I always skip the interrupt though.
I love Tali, but I find myself getting annoyed with the Quarians and their treatment of the Geth too. I often always choose to make peace between them, but if I had to choose I would side with Legion and the Geth
nice.
Are quatrains a military power at all.
If they were council would respect them. They just a fleet.
Tali best girl!!!♥♥
Wouldn't it make more sense to legally enforce a two child policy for zero population growth? If every couple only had one kid you'd be halving output each generation.
Matthew Wingad they have a one child policy so pop. doesnt get too high but when it drops too low they temporarily repeal it so it can get back up and when its high enough they enforce it again
I wanted to enjoy this video, but taking the unholy selfie as cannon and using a mod to match it ruins it for me.
Geth rule
Free Speech I mean, if they devoted all of their resources into doing so they could get pretty close.
I love the video's
This was literally just pulled from the wikia. Yay you can read
I chose the Geth!!!
Quarian society is Communism done right, Lenin would love to compare notes with them, including Karl Marx
white slade This explains why they failed.
Murat Dogan 😁😁😁 true, I could even see similarities with them and communists, but Quarians don't have a Genocidal Dictator like Stalin
True communism is tribal because it works best on that scale.
Communism with a dictator, secret police etc. is a perversion.
The Quarians do it to keep their race alive and not to expand their ideology by any method necessary like the Tau of warhammer 40k
@@MrNomad-vy8yl I do not understand that need to see any society in which they help each other as communists when it is obvious that it is something else, that only shows that we demonize anything by references from the past.
Pffft nothin but scavengers and vagrants of course
Only for geths fanboys like you.
sorry, I liked your Krogan vid, but I just can't accept any lore given by someone that recognises that cheap stock photo of tali out of her suit, smiling in the sun, as Canon. It was the laziest, cheapest thing Bioware ever did. It was more insulting than the me3 ending.
As far as I'm concerned, their appearance is still a mystery and that pic was a prank by the citadel star child
Trojianmaru did i say i recognise it as canon? i thought it was a disappointing move too, but please don't take it your frustrations out on me and the hard work i put into this video, because of biowares action, that's a bit unfair
Tbh, I didn't realize that was what I was doing until you mentioned it. It was a knee jerk reaction to the photo. I actually like your videos, they're presented well, the fonts and layouts look good and they're informative. Plus your voice works well for teaching lore.
You're right, I shouldn't of taken out my frustrations on you. I apologize. Please keep up the good work
Dr Fauci kept extending the time they needed to wear the mask
The qaurians are dead for me like 😂😂
They got what they deserved if they didnt react the way did the geth wouldnt me a problem
