I love the comment of "You wanna win a battle, bring the Krogan. You wanna win a war? Bring the Turians." It kinda solidifies why our bro Garrus was with us from the very start to the very end.
It was all due to miscommunication. The humans didn't know why the relay was disabled, and the Torians didn't know that and assumed it was malicious. Good thing the first contact war was short and had relatively low casualties. Deplomacy actually worked here.
@FireCrestAmerica No, they destroyed one fleet and occupied one human colony. After that, they assumed they’d destroyed the bulk of human military power and didn’t put much effort into pushing forward

Wow! Thank you, that is high praise indeed. I appreciate the kind words and the subs and sharing the video with you friend. I really enjoyed researching and making these videos.
That quote about Krogans and Turian’s makes even more sense when you consider that 2 of the first (other than Ashley and Kaiden) team mates you actually recruit are a Turian and a Krogan. They just so happen to be absolute bro’s.
Always wondered who had more military power, the Turian or Krogan. That saying pretty much sums it up “if you want to win a battle, bring the Krogan, but if you want to win the war, bring the Turian.” Ok, Turians vs Mandolorians, who would win? For those who also love Star Wars.
I would probably side with the Mandalorians against the Turians. Mandalorians primarily use blasters which are plasma based weapons, making them extremely effective at taking down kinetic barriers as seen with Geth plasma weapons. What's more, Beskar Armor is more than durable enough to withstand anything short of a grenade launcher in the Turians infantry arsenal. The Turians could potentially kill the Mandalorians over time by using Plutonium rounds to overwhelm the Mandalorians with radiation even through their armor but Star Wars has some rather powerful anti radiation medicine meaning Plutonium Rounds are only gonna be effective in the short term. And the Turians don't have enough Biotics to turn the tide, not helped by the fact that many Biotics use thwir abilities in similar ways to the Jedi meaning the Mandalorians would have at least a basic idea on how to counter them.
The Turian society scream out the galatic federation from starship troopers. I would love to hear from their military recruitment's saying "Would you like to know more?"
Wow, i didn't know about most of this. When you hear about the krogan rebellion, you think of the genophage I didn't know that the krogans launched fucking asteroids at turian colonies
I would honestly love to see a buddhist monk Turian, i really do. I reckon that would be awesome and hilarious to see a turian in the monk robes... haha
Knowing the characteristics of the Turians, one wonders if Shepard would not have been fairer that he was of that race. A super soldier is much more likely to be born and raised in a military society, rather than in a species, ours, which, as in any RPG, has no peculiarities apart from being the middle ground. I don't think Turians don't have N7-equivalent training
Fun fact, anyone that has a basic understanding of biochemistry knows that humans can safely consume dextro proteins IRL so the Turian food problem wouldn't exist if the series was realistic.

Basically, to join the Council you need to have the resources, both military and economic, to assist in a major galactic crisis. The Volus have a strong economy, but their military is pathetic because before meeting the Council they didn’t fight wars very often. The Hanar and Epcot don’t have very strong militaries or economies. In ME 1 there are two people speculating on which race will join the Council next in the Council chamber, before you speak with them first.

Protheans strike me as being more similar to the Qunari than Turians. Qunari are the opposite of complete freedom of religion; they conquer other races and their options are to convert to the Qun, die, or be turned into essentially mindless slave labor. Turians offer the option of joining, the Protheans forced the 'primitives' into the Prothean empire whether they wanted to be or not.

Humanity didn't even know about the council races when they found the dormant mass relay, the turians were jerks to humanity in the beginning.
It was made illegal to reactivate dormant mass relays. Last time they did that, the Rachni Wars began. The Turians are known sticklers for the law.
