Written by the great Terry Anderson who plays with Dan on occasion with the Yayhoos. Terry also wrote 'Battleship chains' covered by the Georgia Satellites...
I saw Dan Baird and Homemade Sin a week ago. Damn, they were fun to listen to, I was pretty surprised. He's 62, looked and sounded great, and funny as heck. Surprised at how good some of the songwriting was too that he'd done. Pretty underrated artist just playing party time rock
I have followed Dan's career since the 80's and he is still the same dude. He's one of good guys out there keeping rock music real and alive in the 21st century.
That "Im gonna see yous" at the end. I'm sittin here like when question mark. lol. Such a great performance, fun vibes, energy for days... And Paul Schaeffer! I just love all of it... Thank you OP!
I was watching the night this aired and grateful to Dan Baird for almost single-handedly keeping early '70s style rock and roll on the airwaves. So appropriate that Paul and the house band play "Street Fightin' Man" as they head to commercial.
Would be great to find a HD version of this. Letterman should put out a collection of top HD videos from his shows. It would be amazing. Or did he already do this??
I liked this tune right off the bat. he truly did rock it here! great song, great lyrics, great singing, great music, great stage presence. then came rap. actually rap when it first came out was cool as hell. I'm talking before it hit mainstream and then even worse when it went all gangsta rap. back in the early 80s my brother found rap on some obscure radio channel and was like hey listen to this. I was like fuckinn cool. it was more fun back then. groups like Houdini. now it seems like just a bunch of un-creative garbage.
He's not missing a tooth, he has a gap between his teeth. I don't know Dan, but I'd bet my last dollar he's not vain enough to care about trivial shit.
last comment was 6 years ago. I welcome the next person of good taste !
This is pure joy! Rock'n Roll lives on and on.
One of the 10 best albums I own, front to back.
I agree with you John.
John Hiner Truth.

They look like they're having a blast. Love it.
I had just started college 5 years after highschool (better late than never) when this song came out! Anyway, at school, I had this certain teacher...
Two For Tuesday by Dan Baird and Homemade Sun is one of my favourite songs 🎸
Satellites was such great band....so many great songs..
Love Songs is arguably Dan’s best work. Should have been a big record, but life goes how it goes. Long live the spirit of rock and roll!
I'm still playing this one! After 4, 4!

Terry is a very potent songwriter.
He's so young!!!!!
Love it!! Great song, great performance!
Exactly! These guys should be on the classic rock stations constantly!

Once again- Southern boys have a unique twist on the concept of R&R.

Dan Baird. Rock n Roll. Cool Cat
I LOVE IT !!!!!
Dan is so cute and l love this song

Love it! It's Southern, but at the sametime leaves Southern Rock behind.
Danny as well as Jason and the Scorchers never got their due, IMO. This is pure beef with no additives.

I miss Letterman. He'd let a lot of good bands and singers on his show. I don't remember any mumble rappers on the show.
Him and Craig Ferguson were the last two good ones, I grew up with a kid that had your same name
@@williamsherman1089 Kimmel was fun on The Man Show. Now's a Woke sissy. The infection that's a mental illness. Chappelle's got guts too.

The Steve Marriott telecaster.
