Had the pleasure of seeing Warner Hodges play with Jason and The Scorchers and Drivin' and Cryin'....Now I've seen him play with Dan Baird on RUclips. Thank you!
Every time I've seen him play he makes a point of shaking everyone's hand as they are leaving. Met Warner the guitar player in a pub in Shepherds Bush before a gig. Very down to earth and pleasant to me and my pal
I saw this lineup at Fitzgerald's in Berwyn, Illinois about 6 years ago. It was COLD outside, and Dan was struggling with a cold, but he just bulldozed through the set. Amazing. Also ran into Marco who was just milling around in the crowd. We offered to buy him a beer and he took us up on it. He was just the nicest, down- to- earth dude ever. Great memory.
Everything Dan touches is pure gold. Rock & roll like it's supposed to be played. Sweaty and loud, with a snarky sense of humor. Warner ain't no slouch neither.
@@skydog136 The vocals are fairly buried in the mix; you get a sense of them but not a good feel. And the fact you let Turkey's comment get to you reflects on you. A good performance which could have been great if it had the proper vocal mix.

Orange Dual Terrors? Cool.
Actually, I think they're Tiny Terrors.

Wish I could hear the vocals. All I hear are instruments with some vague voices in the background. :(
Turkeyinthehay Go see an Audiologist! Vocals are present and clear. I was going to comment on how good a singer Dan, but you just shit on my sidewalk.

Dig it!
Warner Hodges and Dan Baird sound great together. I just wish the vocals were more up front
Mic output isn't high enough.
Is that the Telecaster he got from Steve Marriott?
Who is that playing rhythm guitar? He sure looks familiar.
Warner E. Hodges from Jason & the Scorchers.
Oh yes, absolutly. A Native Nashville picker. I knew I recognized him. Than you Randy.
