Yeah was about to say the same, the vid looks like max 30 knots. Go and compare the water state to the Jamie Overbeek vid he did lately and that looks like 40-50. 50 knots has spindrift and everything is moving. Still kite looks good.
Would you say this kite in a 10 m is the equivalent of a 12 normal Evo and an eight Evo. Meaning it meets up or down 2 standard kite sizes from the Dlab size
I would say it's indeed more easy to hold on to a D/lab kite mainly because it's flying further in the wind window and the bar pressure is a bit less. At this moment the most popular sizes are 8m / 10m. You can easily use your 10m D/Lab when others are flying 11m and 12m kites.
What sizes would you recommend for a set, to ride from 14 knots up to 35/40 knots? I’m a skilled rider, like old school freestyle, big air and megaloops.
Depending on your weight, With a 8 and 10 meter Evo D/LAB you will cover a lot of this windrange for sure. If you are a bit heavier, a 11m in combination with a 9m would probably be better for maximum wind range! Cheers
Guys, let's be honest - IT IS NOT 40 mph conditions, barely 30 but not 40 mph. Kite is looking great, though.

I was out on the water and the wind was incredibly strong! It must have been 50 knots for sure!
Agree if you look at the photographer on the shore there is no way it was close to 30.
If one day you can compare 5 trust kites: >> Trigger F ONE / Rebel Duotone / Boost 4 flysurfer

Would you say it’s possible to hold an 8m d-lab in wind you would normally be using a 6 or 7m sls ?

@@Kitemana if got 8, 10, 12m xr pro’s coming
My 7m xr7 I never used anyway as it is just too small for my body weight
Is the yellow Aluula leading edge only marketing thing (Ocean Rodeo / Duotone Dlab), or is it for UV protections ?
The allula material is gold in itself and therefore not colored.
How do you reckon the SLS would have performed in comparison?
No man, just no....get a DLAB
so what is the difference of the leading edge diameters?
53 classic
50 sls
47 dlab
Circumference cm
