Pure gold from the LD Champ. Thank you for these nuggets, Martin. Love to see more of these from you. Too much noise regarding power / distance on RUclips and need your truth serum to set things straight. I will follow the man who holds champions belt!! Cheers 🙌🙌🙌💪💪💪
Awesome video. I know I have flaws in my swing where I lose power and working on ground forces has been a large part of getting some of that power back. Seeing an "exaggeration" here of those forces at work is helpful as most instructors try to describe a feeling or show a force plate which is ok yet lacks the clarity on timing / sequence shown here. Thanks Martin :)
Great video. 🚀🚀🚀💣💣💣 As of yesterday, I can stand up from a lunge position on my knee. Due to getting rid of post surgery inflammation. I hope to be able to start strengthening my lower quadsmuch more easily now, so I don't break that lead side kinematic chain. Thanks for providing great content. 👍
I’m 6’4” 215lbs and just got into golf at 26 years old. I need to some how some way get Borgy to download everything he’s learned about long drive into my brain and turn me into an absolute monster 💪🏼
Hey Martin. What is your view on shifting early on your lead side ( p3 lead arm parallel to ground in backswing) so you feel that downward pressure into your front foot from there you are already transferred weight opposed to at the top transferring where i just feel my hands just drop instead of being pulled down?
I need to get my front heel forced into the ground. What are you feeling in your hands in the downswing and when do you apply the arm power? I’m a natural athlete with quick hands, but I’m super thin. My goal is to drive 300yrds and I’ve been close while golfing. I’m playing more (which is once a week if lucky), but I’m still not activating my body at the right times if at all. 👍🏾 My local course has been renovating the Range so no practice and muscle memory is being done for months.
3:45 check out the old man trying to mimic that downward move and getting pressure to the left side. Might have a senior long driver on your hands haha
Thanks. After seeing you talk about them on Dechambeau’s channel, I went out looking for it…and I see another model available in the US today. But going to wait for this one since you recommend it.@@MartinBorgmeierLD
Martin! Do you lead your downswing with your lead arm or trail arm? I feel like I generate more power with the lead arm, but I have 0 accuracy. With the trail arm lead, I have a more consistent shot shape, but am 10-20 yards shorter. Thoughts?
@@jacobr4558interesting I'm left handed however swing right. I thought my dominant left arm was faster than my right however my right creates more club head speed when I push it through impact. My radar provided this surprising data. No wonder Hogan said he wishes he had 2 right hands.
@@thefishnmusician9667 maybe that's true but just remember that your lead arm is also slowing the grip of the club down in creating a tremendous amount of leverage. I don't know what your body is doing as an individual but just logically the top of the grip has to slow down in order for the bottom of the club or the club head to move fast there's a combination of both of those happening. So my current theory is that some people might be more Trail armed dominant or Trailside dominant were they are speeding the club head up with force and momentum get on the extreme opposite end of that somebody who is much more lead side dominant really slows the handle down dramatically two facilitate speeding the club head up it's two different worlds so in other words you might feel like your right hand is moving fast but it's because your left side has done a tremendous amount to sling the club. I honestly don't care what Ben Hogan said about the three right hands to me that's just a generic term like firing the hips or you got engaged your glutes or any of that nonsense.
Bal.On will launch the product in the US in 2024, exact timing is not yet available. But Bal.On will be at the PGA Show in Orlando in January, so come visit the booth there and get first hand information.
If you have to get to your left first to get to your right before starting the club moving... then why don´t you have to get to your right a bit before getting to your left before getting to your right before starting the club going? :D
You can hit farther by adding more force or apply the same force with you center of mass farther away from the club head (using leverage of the moment arm) A reason why I hit my 5 wood farther than by buddy hits his driver

I love this videos, it helps so much on my vertical force. Thanks again!
My man, I love these training vids keep it up.
Thx great tip. How to implement this for irons?

Martin knows what's up . Great info as always. #pressureshifts #physics 💥💥💥
Amazing. Thanks.
You're incorporating the move that John Daley does is l in his gold swing... Which at one point I used to do to create distance
we need more videos regularly, borgie
posting every Monday and Thursday right now 🚀
rooting for you in every long drive championship! but that seb is going to be a problem though...he is a different species of human being haha
Can't wait to try this with my putter 💪💪
Good luck!
Do we know when it's coming to the States? I looked on the website, & it only mentioned being released in a number of European countries 😢
it’s just a matter of weeks, definitely has to happen at some point!
@@MartinBorgmeierLD Zehr güt. Hast du noch meinen taschenreschner, Vater Borgmeier? Ich weiß nicht wo es ist!
hello im your korean fan from seoul~ i was just wondering with your grip pressure do you hold it hard or soft ? 😊
Are you using your trail arm more than your lead arm and what part do your wrists play in producing speed ?

Dude Martin, I've had several +5 golfers tell me that I could go from +1 to +5 if I only worked on distance. Help me out dude!!!
This product available for sale in the USA?
Super Infos auf deinem Kanal !!!
Wäre toll wenn Du genau dasselbe auch auf Deutsch machen könntest :
LG aus WIEN 😁
and in Spanish and Korean? 🤠
good idea@@MartinBorgmeierLD
What is the app you are referencing? Do you have a discount code?

everything’s pretty much firing early in the downswing
Thanks. I usually have to focus on leading with my hips and thinking of activating my hands in front of the ball on my hood swings.

I don't think you're meant to lead with the arms, it's all body. I mean, he didn't even mention the arms at all in this video which is telling.
lead arm for power, trail arm for control. That’s how I feel it
@@MartinBorgmeierLD that's interesting! Are you left handed by chance?

Great
Dude your ball is so far back in your stance but you still hit up on it? Are we not meant to have it inside left heel?
depends on the club and video angle
Terrific....awesome...bombs away..
Looks like it's been snowing golf balls. I've never seen golf balls behind golfers at a driving range ever! what is goin on there Marty?
kids camp a few hours before 🤠

@MartinBorgmeierLD - At address, are you on the balls of your feet? If no, please explain. THX!
there’s a lot of motion going on at my address and it’s definitely more guided by the toes
Effortlessness!

@@TerdFerguson - there are a lot of little guys on tour crushing it 300 plus - so it helps but its alot of speed vs muscle
