    As a Math teacher I have been watching many Math videos mainly by Trinidadians and I love your videos! For some of the others there are errors and Students have to be so careful about which videos they watch! For some questions different videos have different answers!

    Method 2 is broken up into abundance of parts which was easy for me.Btw Kerwin Springer,I passed for Vishnu Boys Hindu College and I am so grateful for your assistance.I used to do your tests before SEA and to my surprise I passed.

    So I guess I maybe loosing one Mark and just going with the formular method...
    Slower, less intelligent ppl who's with me!!! ??! 😂😓😥

    I don't understand the 1 take away 25 over 12 pare. How did you get 1 over 12

    • @syndrac6254
      @syndrac6254 5 месяцев назад

      Idk if you ever solved this but multiply 1 by 12/12 to get 12/12 or find the LCM of 1 and 12. Then 12/12 - 25/12 = -13/12 or -1 and 1/12 if you know how to convert improper fraction to mixed.

    Sir Springer, i was wondering how the 1-25/12 changed to -1 and 1/12

    • @1_cqc
      @1_cqc 2 года назад +1

      have to create the same dominator so you multiply the one by the 12

    • @girlishville
      @girlishville 2 года назад

      In this instance, a whole (or 1) can be expressed as 12/12. So we could read the sum as 12/12 - 25/12 which would give us -13/12 when we convert that to a mixed number, it becomes -1 1/12

  • @akeilroberts2757
    @akeilroberts2757 6 лет назад +21

    how did you get -1 1/12

    • @kerenburke2326
      @kerenburke2326 6 лет назад +21

      1 -25/12 change 1to12/12 then the values will be 12/12. -25/12. So I get 12-25 which is 13 that becomes 13/12 and change into mixed numbers you get 1 1/12

    In a group of 40 students, 28 play tennis and 22 play chess. What is the LEAST number of students who play both tennis and chess?

      Kerwin Springer Thank u. That’s what I use & I got 10. But I was wondering why do they say 'LEAST', isn't 6 smaller than 10? Is 10 the GREATEST or LEAST numbers of students who play both tennis and chess?

    • @ghetoknight7801
      @ghetoknight7801 Год назад +1

      @@symplicity6835 the total is 40, but the player total is 50
      that is to say, for it to be 40 people overall while still allowing the 28 people in tennis and 22 people in chess, 10 people need to overlap^between the two sports
      ofc it could be more than that, all 22 people who play chess could technically also play tennis we'd have no idea
      but no less than 10 people can play both, because if it were less then the total students would be over 40
      no less = least

    Hi, you keep saying quadratic equation, but it's not an equation without the equal sign. It's just a quadratic form. Of course, l know even though you say equation it will not change the answer. However, in math we should always use the proper expressions. Otherwise, a good video and explanations.

    • @KerwinSpringer
      @KerwinSpringer  5 лет назад +3

      You're right. I often explain the difference between equation and expression in other videos.
      For the exam you will usually be given an equation. Years of saying equation in class got the better of me.
