- What is the FL Studio fruit? Many wonder what the FL studio logo really is supposed to be. The FL Studio logo has changed a lot over the years, starting back in 1998. Today it kind of resembles a persimmon fruit. But that's not what it was originally supposed to be.
FL Studio was originally created by Didier Dambrin, and like any creator he needed a logo for his brand-new application, which was really just a simple step sequencer back then. The original Name of FL Studio was actually fruity loops, so it makes sense that he wanted to use a fruit as a logo. This name was not entirely unproblematic though, because Kellogs wanted to make a big issue over this since they already had their fruit loops, so it was decided to change the name to FL Studio instead. The fruit logo remained though, but to this day nobody can agree on exactly what kind of fruit it is supposed to be.
In this video, we'll explore the amazing evolution of the FL Studio logo. How it started, and how it changed along the way, evolving into the fruit logo we see today, and last but not least, what kind of fruit it was originally supposed to be!

Ever since I started watching your videos a little over three years ago, I can't help but notice your voice sounds just like the "How It's Made" guys voice.
I started making music on Fruityloops way back in 1998 till this day and experiencd it grow as i did as a music producer .....but, when everyone side looked it just because of its name and thought it wasnt a serious music software .. I'm so glad they are at the top of music production now. Yes, they did change the name to FL STUDIO, it's all good ....o, and I think the icon is an avatar jungle fruit, lol

Great channel! ... Here's a little idea for a similar themed video. Being a long-time FL user, you could perhaps provide new users a brief synopsis video, of how the DAW's name evolved over time, from the original "Fruity Loops" to "FL Studio" (and the reasons why it had to change). As well as the confusing version numbers used, when v12 skipped past v13 all the way to v20 for the anniversary. And how Image-Line are soon to change that again, over to a "yearly versioning" title system ala "FL Studio 2024". Maybe you could time the video release to coincide with its upcoming official release (currently in Beta 9 testing).

Hey i got a little problem. In the channel rack if i used one plug in (for example:Bite Me-from FLEX) for the bass pattern it gets stick with other patterns as well. So if i aneble Bite me in the bass its automatically enabled in the guitar as well which is something i dont need there. What should i do? Btw amazing video. Thx
it looks like the hybrid pepper im growing. only the hybrid pepper is green. not sure what kind of pepper it is but i know i planted jalepenos and banana peppers in the same big box and this is the only pepper to grow. because i took the seeds from cut up peppers from a gas station, they will become hybrid anyway so im not sure what im growing

Your videos have helped me in more ways than one. When I first started with FL, all I knew how to do was the channel rack. Then, I learned how the play list worked. (Que Beethoven's symphony number 5).
I am however struggling with too much content to make anything worthwhile. To be specific, I feel like my creativity is stifled because I have a MASSIVE loop library and too many plugins. I get a creative idea and then, I get bored immediately then, work on something else. It seems, unless I 'accidentally' find some melody playing around with some notes that something of substance comes about. Have any videos on that topic? Would love to hear what you have to say!

@@Arthur.H.Studio i have been using it since version 1.72 back in 1998. it never had a face.
All I can guess at this point is that someone hacked the visual on a bootleg copy and then pirated it. I suggest this because I was first introduced to fl while visiting a different country. After that I bought it cause I was hooked. I believe you guys that it was never an official logo, but what I saw was real. :)
