Just wanted to let you know that you have made it possible for me to learn so many words & sentences that I learned just so I could teach them to my 5 y/o twin girls, & I am sooo impressed on how quickly they have learned them, to the point that they correct me when I sign the wrong words. I can't thank you enough but I will try! THANKS A MILLION!!🥰
I LOVE these refresher videos! I work with deaf coworkers on occasion, and sometimes I am rusty due to lack of signing. These videos are always so helpful in keeping me on my toes. Many thanks!
This information is so useful!! I would like to sign “Where is your pain?” “What health problems do you have? “Do you feel faint?” Thanks for asking! Love you
I’ve been watching these to help my toddler better communicate with me and it’s not only helping with that but his annunciation in words has also gotten better thank you guys so much for doing these videos!!!
This is AWESOME!!! Thank you so much. I am a firefighter and this is much needed in our area. Thank you for creating a series for Public Safety. We were trying to fighter out how we could incorporate ASL into our next Leadership Retreat. ❤ I am also a member of LHTS. You and your Team are AWESOME!!!
i love your videos!! I took a year of ASL in college & even got to visit Gaulladet University as well as volunteer at Kendall Demonstration Elementary School and your videos help me refresh my knowledge and continue to learn more!!!
Thanks for making these, I've been wanting to learn to become fluent, I always had enough knowledge to have a simple conversation. I worked at a Family Dollar Years ago and I happened to have a lot of deaf customers so I learned enough to communicate but I always wanted to learn more and your videos are awesome. I always feel like this gets pushed off as an actual language but I always thought it was beautiful, even more so then many others so again thank you!❤
We do not. More niche topics like this often get pushed further down as higher demand videos surface. We definitely hope to get to it someday! We do a weekly live Q&A within our Accelerated program where we answer questions about specific signs. We plan on doing those occasionally on RUclips as well, so stay tuned for that 😀
Sooo i have a question.... when I'm signing should I be looking at the person, or looking at my hands? Also, thanks so much for the videos! I just started learning asl two months ago and these videos help a ton!
Always look at the person, you want to make sure that they understand what you're trying to say, even if you mess up a little they may know what you mean!
Thank you! I have a basic very odd question----- what does one do when they have brow botox so they cant brow furror on wh questions???? I was pursing my lips naturally instead lol. Any ideas on what to do for that. Also what if someone has onky one arm or wearing a wrist/ full hand brace or sling on a non dominate hand. Finally how do you prevent pain in your hands from signing? Are there ways to do it better to prevent nerve ans muscle strain? Thank you! I love your videos. I live near Galludet and hope to be brave to take ASL101.
One of the hardest things for me to do is to make the faces while signing. I love watching yours. I guess it will come eventually. Do you have a video on the face making?
Hello, can you please show me how to sign "keep your hands to yourself" "look both ways before crossing the street" n "be on your best behavior" PLEASE!! n THANK YOU!!
It depends who you are talking to and what the context is. "Keep your hands to yourself" can be signed YOUR HANDS TOUCH++ OTHER PEOPLE, NO! Or YOUR HANDS, (put in lap and look sternly). BOTHER+++ NONE or TOUCH+++ NONE "Look both ways before you cross the street." STREET INTERSECTION YOU CL:V (look one way then the other) CAR CL:3 (Show cars driving from opposite sides) NONE, GO-AHEAD WALK "Be on your best behavior." Again it depends what specifically you want the, I'm assuming, child to do. You could just sign BEHAVE(with an affirmative nod and kind but firm facial expression). You could also add specific behaviors you want the child to do QUIET, PAY-ATTENTION., WORK, PLAY SILLY NONE, etc
i understand if you can't make a video because cannabis isn't legal everywhere, but i work at a dispensary and have some deaf customers. i'd like to ask them what kind of cannabis they like, or how they want it to feel
But what if the theatrics help? Jk, I am a very animated person and I cannot help but gesticulate everything I say, lol. These videos are saving my life right now.

Do you have a dental video because that would be so helpful.

Why is it-" you name what you", and then "address what you"?
Shouldn't it be also "you address what you"?
But what if the theatrics help? Jk, I am a very animated person and I cannot help but gesticulate everything I say, lol. These videos are saving my life right now.
