Actually Chandler had bunch of years fighting at the elite, he just was on other organization and entered the UFC as a huge star, so put some respect on his journey.

Chandler is a world class fighter and I wouldn’t have been upset if he won. It was just amazing to see Oliveria get the strap being in the UFC for 11 years and overcoming so much adversity while having class his whole career.

Any real MMA fan that follows the sport outside of the UFC knows Chandler is a vet and this opportunity was by no means undeserving. Regardless, 11 years fighting the best of the best - no one deserves it more than Olivera.

Olivera really earned this. I am so happy that he hung in there and proved Chandler wrong and got the job done. He did it for his family and community and it’s been a looooong time coming! #10 plus years in the making!

That’s michaels problem he only knows how to attack forward he’s style is pure pressure look how at the beginning of the fight Charles was doing well when he was backing Michael.
Chandler is a great athlete but I question his fight IQ at times. Like when he hurt Oliveira he should have took the fight back to the feet and unloaded more bombs. He allowed Oliveira to recover and you don't do that to a dangerous guy like Charles

I’ve been saying for years Oliveira was one of the best in the world before he got top 15 fights. It’s surreal seeing him win that belt. I’m happy for him. But Michael Chandler has my respect too. Dude fought well and showed he belongs in the UFC.
