There is something about social media that emboldens people to act in ways they most likely would not in person. It is easier to be rude and petulant with a screen separating you from those you are attacking. It also emboldens the mind set that content providers some how owe something to those of us who watch the content provided. That is totally backwards. You are providing great content and I am grateful for it. You time is valuable and never doubt that. Keep up the good work

I've been a fan of your channel ever since I found it, and admire how you treat your animals and the consideration that goes into their welfare, which gives them a decent life and makes for a high quality product. It's obvious how much thought goes into everything you do, and that it's an ever evolving set of things to be assessed and evaluated as to present and future ways of approaching things. Yes, you might not have a set of letters after your names, but that's irrelvant to the amount of expertise you've acquired over decades of being in the farming business. You don't go to a mechanic and ask him to repair your car for free, so that guy's presumptive attitude is insufferable and deserves the disdain you accorded him.

Some peoples kids?!?! People dont understand when you are away from your own business, is this case farming, you are loosing money in a sense which translate to less food on the table. These days people want too much for free. This mans time away from his farm costs him money so if he is away he needs to get paid for it. It is that simple. pay for the Patrion if you want detail advice or pay for consulting if you think it is necessary but dont act entitled about it. Praying for you my Brother! LOVE THE VIDEOS! I grew up in a farm atmosphere, mostly beef cattle, crawfish and horses, and I am wanting to start off with some chickens and go from there. I just want something to piddle with and have some birds in the freeze and eggs in fridge. If it grows into something else then great, if not aint no thang.

He is right. His experience is valuable. My son is a regional president in FFA at the high school level in NC and we visited this farm not long ago. He showed my son so much and he still talks about it. When we left, we asked about paying for the visit and he wouldn’t accept payment. But we did purchase some meat product as a gesture of appreciation for the time he spent with us that he didn’t have to do. Class act as far as I am concerned. The kindness meant even more as the day spent with my son meant a lot to me after I had been struggling to connect with him after having a really bad accident and dealing with a brain injury. And those chuck roasts are out of this world good! Need to buy more.

If you don’t like something don’t watch it. No one is making you. You seem like every nice people who enjoy what you are doing. I sell on eBay and sometimes no matter what you do someone will be unhappy. It just goes with the job. I feel sorry for those people they must be very unhappy with their lives to go around being ugly to everybody. I know it is hard but we should pray for that person. Don’t let it get you down. The darkside of sharing and helping people so much, is opening yourself up for those who want to take advantage and attack for no good reasons. They just want a free quick fix for their life without putting in work or effort, then blame somebody else for not saving them. It’s scary how many entitled little individuals out there want to watch good content, to just turn around and try to ruin a families actual real lives. The ones that think they should call police and report good people (that treat their farm animals better than half the country does their pets…) That wastes the time and resources which could be spent for serious emergencies and crimes. Then there’s even people actually trespassing and attacking homes because they’ve watched videos. Man, its baaad these days.
But it can still be so good, and so helpful for a lot more people than those bad seeds. Don’t let a few rotten eggs ruin a good thing. There’s plenty more that support and appreciate ya’ll! Thank you guys so much for all that you do! Stay strong and safe, and keep on keeping on. ❤️

I started my homesteading journey about the time you started your channel(you had less than 1k subscribers). I was raising chickens for eggs at the time. You inspired me to raise pigs(I'll send you the bill later lol) and just by watching your videos I learned a lot of things. Watching what yall do, and listening to yall speak. I also learned by trial and error but yall were the spark and the model I follow. I don't do it for a business and not to the same scale but the attitude and ethics are the same. Pasture raised animals that live a good life.
It has been a pleasure watching yall evolve into what you are today. I love watching your content and I think what yall do is amazing and yall should be compensated. Don't get me wrong, I love the videos and I try to get as much information from them as I can for free but if I ever wanted to get into the business of farming, I would contact yall and would want to pay. I don't understand how certain persons want something valuable for free when most of know that stealing wrong. I really hope that the person who did that understands that they are wrong for their behavior, but they probably won't. I had someone in my life who never said sorry for all the destruction they caused. These people walk around blind with megaphones for mouths, cotton in their ears, and brains with no filters. Unfortunately there isn't much we can do except ignore them and live our best lives.
Chuck, you and Saundra keep doing what you are doing. You know what your goal is and what your time is worth. When you believe in what you are doing strongly enough, it will drown people like this person out from the big picture. They will be a drop of paint in the painting. I truly believe yall believe in what you are doing and I also believe it to be the correct way to do things. We can get our meat and eggs from pasture raised farms without resorting to industrial farming where those poor animals are treated like machines more than living beings.
Thank you for what yall do. I have tried to make videos of my little "farm" and it's tough! Yall do it all on that big place, video it all, edit it down for us...yall do farmers markets, where do you find the energy and time? Do yall sleep? 😂This is the information I want to know hahahaha. Yall have a blessed weekend and keeping you in my prayers.

The guy wanted to know if your area is welcoming to outsiders. In the south, the answer is yes, but not for this sort of person. Thank you for shopping!

@7:08 Saundra is tying a piece of cord. Suggestion: A small ball bungee cord might be a more secure and efficient solution to secure the electric fence gate. Love what you do and share. Keep on! Blessings.

Instead of people having nothing better to do, they have to try and ruin something that nothing to do with them. I watch to learn and see if i can appy it to our farm. We need to try and help each other.

Keep up the great work you and Sandra are doing. Unfortunately the society that has been created lately are a bunch of entitled children that hasn't grown up. They are always wanting something for nothing and think that the world owes them something....
As of the content, I've enjoyed it all. The real life content is what I've enjoyed. I believe that since me and my wife are farmers. We can relate to it all. Thanks for your hard work Chuck! I know that creating content isn't easy, when you're trying to run a farm. We know with our channel, (I won't try to promote it on yours... LOL!) it isn't easy moving cameras and taking the time to get certain shots takes a lot of time. God bless you guys!
