- Major Dr.Surendra Poonia is an international award winning sportsman, Limca book record holder,
physician, former Special Forces Officer of Indian Army, paratrooper and a medical professional. He is
the first Indian athlete to win gold medals in power lifting events in four consecutive world
championships and has also been awarded as the 'Most entertaining sportsman of the year' in 2013. He
has also served as the bodyguard of two former Presidents of India. He also became the first Indian
Doctor to win 15 medals in any international championship.

A doctor, an army officer a para commando how can a person have all such quality in one body. My father was in the Army and I know how courageous Army Soldiers are. Listening to your stories makes me feel we are living way too comfortable life that we can aim and achieve lots of success in that comfort.
