Man battle mode is complete insanity, I've beaten both the base campaign and the dlc on ultra nightmare but this is waaaay different. If the demons are new or low level, I stomp em, if they're high level like in this video, I get stomped. They pressure me so damn hard and then pussy away when one of them dies, which means I almost never get to win a round unless they mess up badly. Props to you for having this shit on lockdown.

Same with Slayer, Sentinel Infused *edit*(and Endless rage as well) is just too good compared to other upgrades. Plus weapons like the Chaingun and Plasma rifle are pretty much obsolete at this level of play. F4ll already made comments about the AI cc.

Archvile is super mean being able to move up and down faster than you in the middle area. Feels like at high skill the slayer is punished very hard for the smallest mistakes and usual demon teams have a get out of jail free card (shields, walls, etc) that they can use to overwhelm you or survive your attacks while choking your ammo out. Slayer almost mandatory has to take dashing to win matchups on some maps as well. Not taking ammo against the common spam summon builds also gets rough.

In my opinion I don't think the Master carve is like a mandatory perk to get if you can somehow manage to trick the demons into wasting there own loot block that would be good enough it's not a big deal but I'm just saying yeah it's great that it can make the gameplay more intense and extremely fast but idk just want to put it out there
this is amazing and the reason doom and quake are my favorite games ever!, i honestly cant swith weapons that fast crazy, soo if i play battle mode do i get to play with people my level or is random? i just wanted to do the event tasks

Watching people play on PC is so crazy. Playing this game on console controllers is fun, but you just can't match PC speed and precision.

Play the game on NM regularly along with battlemode and you'll get there, things are only hard until they become easy

Dashing with the Chaingun Shield deals massive damage. I highly recommend you do that.
