Is that the longer you work the same region the less often you find yourself going somewhere the first time, but it still happens. I am regional and probably I would say on average once every two or three weeks, maybe I find myself trying to figure out a new place but when I was over the road, almost every single load, what is the first time there I guess maybe if you worked for the same company doing OTR after a few years, you might get familiar

    I’m thinking of coming on board.
    It will be a change. Most of my driving career has been doing flatbed. Only a short time I did refer.
    Crete has a dedicated Cisco account they want me on here in southwest Florida.
    Y’all have any insight on this?
    Love your videos.😊

    • @TheJoyofTrucking
      @TheJoyofTrucking  Месяц назад

      Hi Kevin! No, sorry. We have not even heard of that account! 🤔 So you know more than us!
      We can tell you that we think Crete is a good company. Family owned. No debt. And a lot of opportunities. They do have a reefer division and a flatbed division and of course many OTR or regional accounts. So if the Cisco one doesn’t work out for you, there are many other opportunities with Crete as well. Let us know if you have any other questions that maybe we do have answers to.😉
      And if you do decide to apply with Crete, we would be very grateful if you would give them our referral code, SLOKEV. That’s a great way to support this channel. OK, please let us know more about that account or what you decide to do. Have a great day! And thanks for watching our channel!😃🤗

      @TheJoyofTrucking  Месяц назад

      Hi Phil! What's for lunch? :-) We think it's safer to turn the truck off when fueling. It's also a bit quieter and you're not sucking exhaust right next to you. Other truckers might leave them running, especially if it's hot and they have a rider or pet inside. Thanks for watching! We appreciate your kind words!

      I run into this all of the time. I'll usually pull the landing gear crank all the way out so that I'll get the soft setting. Takes a bit longer, but it's not hell on my arms.
      Also keep in mind that there are yard movers that will raise the height of the trailer so they can get underneath to get hooked up. Saw that a few times...

      @@SannarClaus Thanks! Yes. That sounds nice. Our friend, Clydesdale, drives for Leonard’s Express. He gets a lot of those. His channel is Clydesdale Reefer Trucking.
      Kevin does not like to drive reefer. He also does not like live loads and unloads. He also does not like driving at night or picking up/delivering at night. I think that often happens with that kind of trucking. We have a lot of variety of loads. Sometimes short and sometimes all the way across the country, so it just depends. Luckily there is a lot of variety in trucking, so that everybody can get what they like! ;-) Thanks for watching our channel!

Shes hilarious to me. I think she's working on becoming a driver here with him. They are fun to watch. But use your CC button. www.youtube.com/@team-babashi/videos This is to their main YT page. He drives she works the camera. They are the Japanese version of you guys.

I took it she meant with Crete. And I think the channel is hers. Regardless, they are fun to watch. The latest video. Is them at Iowa 80. Shes so funny seeing everything there. Sorry for the confusion.
