That's a fantastic addition. When I last played though, the thing that annoyed me (though not enough to try something different) was that I would take different truck configurations depending on where I was going and what I was doing. Along those lines, it would be nice if the truck were able to depart straight out as well without redocking allowing you to build multiple docks and switch between module setups. Or perhaps a double wide dock where modules could be moved into\out of storage so you could reconfigure the truck with a click of a button. Nonetheless, this addition is still pretty cool.
Could always build multiple Seatruck cabs for different modules, if you have a few preset that you like. For me, I ended up with either Cab|Replicator|Storage|Dock or Cab|Storage|Dock. I think I used the latter in the endgame because it was easier to maneuver.
So you wanted kinda like a giant sized room that would be two stories, to be sort of like a dock yard, with a tube section like the dock for the sea truck. And from the dock yard you could build multiple sections for the sea truck, pull compartments, destroy compartments, and set them aside, like a series of building arms, grabbing arms on a rail system for buildings cars.
Gotta admit the teleport idea would be fancy, for example al-an tells you in the later stages of the game that he thought of an upgrade for the dock which turns it into a stargate essentially and you can teleport between the different docks you: 1. To make not broken/op it requires power like 100 base or depending on how many pieces go through, this also means each place need a power source 2. Each dock needs it own upgrade to make is into a network 3. I don't know where you put the console to choose the exit or activate and deactivate the portal 4. After each jump the portal deactivates itself

This might replace my moonpool, I've fully upgraded prawn AND have all seatruck modules. Since prawn can go on docking module, and the seatruck dock can connect to rooms, it acts as a seatruck focused moonpool. Love it!
I love using the docking module. I pulled into it one day with my sea truck needing repair and figured out by mistake that the dock repairs the sea truck when it’s docked. I had to fabricate a another repair tool and when I returned it was at 100%. That’s really cool.

it's rare that you watch one of these showcase videos and the person in the video actually does all the experimentation that you would do if you were the one playing. but yeah i had all the same questions you did, which made it all the more satisfying to get the answers now i just wanna see a cyclops dock and we'll have the whole set

u cant deck seatruck in moonpool with mode attached u have disattech them in order get seatruck in moonpools that how they came up with new blueprint for seatruck so u dont have to worry about disattech it at all just drive in n out no problem it nice to see it be in game (i saw that last years they still working on it wasnt completely unite now)

Wouldn't a docking mechanism that clamps onto the seatruck's top hatch make more sense? Or, heck, why not another module for the seatruck that (once activated) can maneuver the vehicle close enough to extend a boarding tube to attach to a base hatch?
I think it gets charged from the Seatruck no ? And if the Seatruck is being charged by the base it gets charged either way by the base or by the seatruck from the base.

What happens if you drive a module into it without the front trunk, does it still dock? And what if you get into the Prawn and detach while the trunk is still docked... does the prawnsuit damage it while walking in it?
honestly, this would be a great sort of addition for a Cyclops, so that you can take your seatruck till the cyclops is too big, and then take the prawn when its too difficult to use the seatruck
Moonpool is the only place you can build the Vehicle Upgrade Console. Which yeah you can build the upgrades in the regular fabricator you still need it to name and change the colors on your prawn suit. Plus charging the prawn suit
I'd Love to watch a new Below Zero Playthrough I watched the one you did on full release recently. Because of the difference of when it was made and when I watched it, I found myself just playing it in the background.

I figure I'm about half-way through the game on my first ever playthrough and I'd really like this thing for my seatruck. Edit: It had already shown up in my blueprints and I wasn't paying attention and didn't notice.

Wish you could rotate the module order by making an adjacent tube extension that can detach a particular module and shuffle it to the spot in the train you want. That would be too lazy.

Z1 I'm a 100% for another play through series. Maybe to find all the obscure recipes and a super base. Maybe one that is on an island that has levels to go into the ocean.
We never needed a sea truck dock. What we needed was a multi purpose sea truck module. Its just an empty module but it lets us build stuff in it like a multi purpose room.
No, we needed the dock. The seatruck was a pain to put somewhere, and it could be attacked. Now, you can dock it WITH the modules (unlike moonpool) and you can put prawn in it.
Wouldn't mind a revisit of Modded Subnautica. By the way, I think they added the Large Room and Partition to regular subnautica. Not sure about the appliances(Toilet Sink and Shower).

They may fix the power consumption in another patch. It should only take as much as the moonpool.

This dock was part of the game when I got bz.
My favorite sections for the truck are fabricator and two storage for heavy resource gathering.

have played some of this new update myself. when i got my last Moonpool Fragment it also unlocked the seatruck dock at the exact same time

Bring back the Seamoth to BelowZero! The moon pool is basically useless now.

Did they fix the fish tank reflection issue in this update? I have to keep the lights off in those rooms because the glass is so bright.
